Dee Weddings (Deepti) went above and beyond the call of duty for our wedding day! A little background: We selected a raw loft space for our wedding and that required a solid wedding planner who would coordinate multiple vendors and make this wedding happen on point. We had selected a different wedding planner who failed to act on our behalf and failed to work with us. Disappointed and frustrated, we were ready to cancel everything when we contacted Deepti. Deepti was able to rescue this wedding and she helped with our vision. She negotiated contracts, and coordinated with the vendors and us. She took charge of this wedding. More importantly, she helped to make this more fun. She was creative and suggested some ways of customizing things in terms of decor used in our celebration while still staying within our tight budget. She would have regular calls and used Whatsapp with us to brief us on progress with vendors and she kept us in the loop with vendors. She used collaboration tools such as Google Sheets and kept us on track and on target. I cannot thank her enough and highly recommend Dee Wedding services to anyone planning a wedding!

I'm not the typical bride who wanted the typical "fairy tale" wedding. However, I do consider Deepti to be a fairy godmother since she not only saved our wedding, but made it even better. We rented a raw loft space, and originally worked with another planner - who basically failed to plan anything. Luckily, we found Deepti with only two months to go, and she immediately took control. She suggested a ton of great ideas to help us shape the vision; created Google docs to help us keep on track with tasks and budget; and kept in constant communication with us. It was a night and day experience from our previous planner, who didn't do any of those things. All of the previous stress we experienced melted away as Deepti proactively took over, and she didn't disappoint. Our wedding was amazing - from the decor, to the food, to the music. She juggled a million moving parts and overall it went off without a hitch - and it exceeded our expectations. Our guests also told us how much they loved everything and that Deepti did an amazing job. Seriously, I can't recommend her enough. My one regret? That we didn't find Deepti from the beginning!

I had been planning my wedding with the help of my daughter for months. As the date drew dangerously near - 3 weeks to go, I realized that I couldn't be in all places at the same time and admitted that help was needed (I won't speak of the chest pains). After looking through Deepti's website, I got a good feeling about her. I loved that she was from a different culture than my own and felt that she would be open to something other than a typical, run of the mill wedding, ours was a party (even though I know that she was equipped for the traditional if I wanted). I contacted her asking if she could be my day-of coordinator. Deepti asked for an immediate meeting where she learned, without insulting me at all, that she was better off communicating with my daughter (ha ha). She became more than my day-of. I can't begin to convey how necessary she was to my wedding. I began to really breathe easier as soon as she came on board. Fulfilling her promise to me, she really helped make my day as seamless as possible. And incidentally, my husband agrees with giving Deepti big thumbs up! Thanks, Dee.

I wasn't initially planning on hiring a coordinator to any capacity. A few weeks prior to my wedding I realized that it was going to be a huge headache to have to coordinate all these odds and ends on the day-of and wrangle my loud and large family. It wasn't long before I found and subsequently loved Dee! She took the time to listen and understand what I was looking for the day-of before she offered me a quote. It really felt like she cared that my wedding was set up properly and went off without a hitch! In my experience, Dee was pleasant, professional, prompt with her responses, extremely organized, and absolutely lovely to work with! There is absolutely nothing I can say that would be anything less than positive and I strongly recommend her!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I need to understand the scope of work in order to be able to quote. My pricing is within the market range. For last minute bookings, sometimes I can offer a discount, but for that, we need to consult.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
- We get on a quick call to understand your vision, requirements and your budget. - I then discuss the management fee and send over a detailed scope of work. - Once you're happy, you pay the booking amount and we take it from there!
How did you get started doing this type of work?
Did corporate events for 3 years for high-end luxury brands, such as Gucci, Harvey Nichols, Bloomingdale's, etc. Would help out at weddings on the side, and eventually took it up full-time.
