At first I was sceptical of taking Michelle's yoga class - being a cardio junky, I was one of those, "if you don't pour sweat, it's not a workout." Boy was I wrong. Michelle's class completely changed my mindset about yoga. She led the class in such a smoothly athletic way, not only were all of my limbs shaking by the end, but the hour flew by as if it were 15 minutes. Unlike previous yoga classes I have taken, I felt completely engaged both mentally and physically the entire time. I also thoroughly enjoyed her personality. Being a beginner she was completely welcoming and showed me how to modify the more difficult moves as the class progressed. I felt like I had been friends with her for years. I highly recommend Michelle's class - and I can say for sure she's my favorite yoga instructor.
I've been meeting with Tony once weekly for close to two months for meditation and yoga teachings, and I already feel like we have become close friends. Tony's kind and perceptive nature, along with his decades of experience and knowledge, make it a once in a lifetime opportunity to be his student. I have taken many yoga classes and I have to say that zach's teaching style and his ability to see what each student needs is beyond excellent. In fact he is the best teacher I have ever had. He is specific in his methodology and tries asanas that are extraordinary. He is a natural teacher in that he will gear his classes to the level of what is appropriate, he listens to his students needs and is careful not to push too far. His approach is gentle but steadfast. He is trusting and fun. Each time I'm with Zach I feel welcomed and happy.
I love everything about Free Spirit Yoga and Reiki with Robyn Paige. The space is perfect - centrally located, parking in the back, clean, and adorned with very calming and tasteful decor. Yoga classes are small, limited to 8 people, so Robyn is able to offer personalized assistance to help everyone improve their practice if they have asked for feedback. Robyn starts every class by asking about our needs so she can address them and help our bodies and hearts be at their best. I always leave feeling taller, stronger, and better. Robyn's energy, enthusiasm, positivity, and light are exceptionally contagious. Life is just a little bit better after each class at Free Spirit. You can't beat a $10 drop in ANYWHERE and the class packs are an even better deal. Registering for class on the MINDBODY App is also super easy and a huge plus - you can register ahead of time and pay when you arrive. I took spinning with Samantha years ago. I am so delighted that she is now teaching yoga. She is the best instructor I've ever worked with. She is genuinely happy, always smiling and very motivational. I can't wait to see her in action in the yoga room!

I provide beginner and intermediate yoga classes. Instruction lasts for an hour and a half. This includes beginner meditation instruction moves into basic levels of yoga poses and ends with restorative yoga.

People come to yoga for many reasons. Flexibility, weight loss, strength enhancement, and stress reduction. But I don't teach to these things because they will come naturally in the poses. I simply speak to the body, let your brain become a conduit between the mind and the body, and that is my own working definition for mindfulness. Its a matter of attention and intention.
Our yoga studio offers multiple classes per week. Yoga classes are typically offered in 8 week sessions, but you can start anytime. Classes are available for all levels, but no experience is necessary. Most classes are Iyengar-based yoga. Vinyasa class are also offered. Private sessions are available.
