My name is Mark Groaning and I recently had the pleasure of working with Mr. Baird on a promotional film that I hired him to do for Mark Groaning Experiences: Creating Art LIVE! I presented him with an outline of what I was originally looking for, I say "originally" because the project changed several times over the course of several months of shooting, as does often happen with my projects. Mr. Baird was responsible for attending production meetings, recording footage at my live art performance events and work sessions at my studio. He is punctual with appointments, professional with my clients and personable. Mr. Baird has that special eye for capturing key moments, locations and the timing that is required to edit those moments into a product that I am very happy with. Mr. Baird is an excellent photographer as well as being professional and having the tenacity to stick with this project through the several months that it required to complete. Loren adapted to changes in direction and ideas, took them in stride and forged them all into an excellent film that surpassed my expectations. You can see his video here. I can only imagine Mr. Baird honing his skills and becoming better and better as he gains more experience and opportunity

Jen is an amazing event planner! Jen planned an entire 300 person event in Boston for my company based out of Rochester. There were so many logistics involved- speakers, airfare, hotel setup/breakdown, shipping items, sponsors, cocktail hours, food, breakout sessions, and the list goes on... She handled everything with her team professionally and smoothly... and of course within budget which is important. Honestly, you could not ask for a better planner in ANY event. I have also seen her plan beautiful weddings! Her detail is one you will not find with anyone else. She has tons of ideas and lots of experience. I would highly recommend Jen in any situation if you need help planning anything!

The dj at our party was very professional and entertaining. We had a large list of requests and he worked them in to the wedding. They played a bunch of games like musical chairs, tv trivia and we even sang some karaoke for prizes. I highly recomend this company. Their light show is fantastic.

    Anthony was our DJ two times and did an absolutely splendid job engaging our group and getting them to dance and have a stellar time. His initial job was such a huge hit, that when we did the even again, we drew an amazing crowd. Those were fundraisers that generated 1700 combined! Now we are having him back for a 3rd event. I highly reccomend Anthony and Spectrum Sound.

    A party photo booth is a fun, interactive experience where guests can take a series of photos (usually three or four) that are immediately printed out on a strip as a keepsake. When you rent a party photo booth, the company sets up the booth or photo station at your event; a photographer staffs the booth and coaches guests on how to use it throughout the event. Often the photo booth rental company provides props like silly hats, wigs and glasses. There are different types of party photo booth rentals. An open-air booth has a curtain or backdrop that allows more freedom of movement and enables more people to use it at one time. The traditional enclosed photo booths that you may have seen at the mall or the fair tend to cost more to rent, as they are harder to transport and also cost more for the pros to purchase.     What is in a party bus?

    A party bus can be a fun and safe way to transport a group of people to or from an event. A party bus can be anything from a retrofitted school bus complete with disco lights, to an upscale shuttle service, to a stretch Hummer with a full bar. What is inside a party bus depends on the company you hire and what you are looking for. Many party buses have bars in them, complete with glassware, ice bins and mini fridges. Often party buses have festive lighting like strobe lights, black lights, dimmable lighting and track lighting on the floor. A party bus usually has loudspeakers in the back for en route dancing and may even have a dancing pole in the center. Some states require seat belts in party buses and decree that all passengers must be seated when the vehicles are moving, so there must be a seat for each passenger. To make sure you know what you are paying for, request photos of the inside and outside of the exact vehicle you are hiring. Also make sure you have all fees and details of what is and is not covered in a written contract.

    When you rent a party bus, it’s industry standard to tip the driver 15 percent to 20 percent of the rental cost. Some rental companies include a gratuity for the driver as a line item on the bill, while others leave tipping to the discretion of the passengers. Often party bus drivers are employees of the rental company, and are not seeing most of the money you paid to hire the ride for the night. You should consider the tip as a standard part of your total party bus price. The job of the party bus driver is to keep you and the other passengers safe, ensure your comfort, and get you to your destinations on time (barring outside factors like weather or unpredicted traffic).
