Alyssa really cares what students need, and is really patient about correcting and enhancing my skills. She's also trying to make the class fun. We not only focus on skills, suzuki pieces, but also focus on the music I love. I started half way on my violin learning, and Alyssa can quickly pick up where am I and figure out what should I learn. She asked questions about what I need and expect so that our classes can fit me better.
I have two children at Rochester Academy of Music & Art (RAMA) taking piano and voice for over two years. It's been a wonderful experience, motivating, rewarding and creative. Our family has taken lessons with several schools and teachers in the area and we are happy to call RAMA our music home now. From logistical help to flexibility to high level instruction and skilled musicians, we have found everything we need at RAMA.
Michael is an excellent teacher. Highly knowledgable and skilled, friendly, patient, and attentive to the needs of the student. I'm an older beginner on the violin, and after his lessons I feel much more confident about my practice and musical ambitions.

Evan is very professional and dependable. He taught my son violin and his lessons were always interesting and full of fun. I miss those days. I also taught music classes with him. He can control the class just like he can conduct an orchestra. I do not hesitate to recommend Evan to any position that he aspires to apply.
