I've known Greg for around 30 years. I've been in bands with him (on bass) and taken guitar lessons. Lessons are based on what you want out of it which is usually discussed in the 1st meeting. He will teach from the novice beginner to intensive theory related lessons suitable for working the working pro looking to gain knowledge or move forward (so to speak). Basically whatever you want covering many styles and levels of music. The fact that he can come to your location if necessary is a nice bonus. He's done work for some world renown artists and is a working professional, not just some guy who teaches. I also know he went to Berkley. I highly recommend him for novice through pro level level studies or just weekend fun.

Greg Lamastro is an excellent teacher,as he is both professional and pleasant to work with.His knowledge and skill in his instrument is second to none.He is very precise and accurate in his dealings and easy to learn from.
