FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer new clients an introductory special of $99 for their first two sessions. Some of my competitors might give you a price quote per session, where in order to receive that price; you will have to buy 10-20 sessions at a time up front. When I give you a price quote per session, that's a set price for just one session or as many as you want to buy. You can pay me as you go.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When working with a new client, I take a careful approach. In the first sessions, I put my clients through a mini assessment to see how they move and give them a basic workout trying some fundamental movements. I am always assessing my clients to see if that movement is appropriate for them. I use this first workout session as a guide to build on for the workout routine I will then put together.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have multiple certifications through NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine). I am a certified personal trainer, corrective exercise specialist, weight loss specialist, and fitness nutrition specialist all though NASM, as well as pre/post natal certified and kettlebell certified. Lastly, I have a master's degree in physical education and taught it for five years. Working at Equinox for a year recently, really gave me a lot of new tips and pointers. Equinox has their own training program that was great. Most importantly from my experience at Equinox, I got to work with and learn from some of the best minds in the business; my Equinox personal training colleagues were just amazing individuals.
