My son really wanted to play guitar and Mark took him at a young age. Since my child has been playing he's grown into himself and even auditioned and got into a performance art school. Mark encourages my child and is an AWESOME instructor! If you need guitar or mandolin lessons you should really try lessons with Mark.
Jessica is an amazing teacher. She combines music theory and excellent instruction to provide continues motivation to my sons ages 6 and 8. She pushes them to learn new things and make connections in different ways. They really love her and are falling more deeply in love with playing piano. In addition, her personality is fantastic. She is very cordial and easy-going. She interacts with our three other younger children in a very gracious way. I can't recommend her highly enough. I'd give her 6 out of 5 stars!
I went for an introductory piano lesson and found Megan to be a great teacher, who demonstrates patience and a passion for her craft.
Julie Williams is a very professional and knowledgeable music teacher that has guided me through my first few piano lessons. I had contacted her to learn music theory and to play the piano. Her approach is to start with the basics and to build from there. I highly recommend her as a teacher who has the ability to guide a person through music lessons that will lead to success.
Janessa was my vocal coach in high school and helped me get prepared for my college auditions in my senior year as well as help me land the lead in my high school musical! I learned great strategies to help my voice mature and a lot of foundational skills that I missed out on not having played an instrument. Janessa was able to help me overcome a lot of the bad habits that I had as well as push me to expand my vocal skills. She was a great Christian role model and I appreciated her approach. I would recommend Janessa to any young singer looking for direction and focus in their singing career.
Fern was my piano teacher for about 8 years. She trained me classically and I became an accomplished pianist due to her. She helped me read music, taught me scales and chords and brought from a beginner pianist to an advanced level. She is very reliable: she was always punctual and never cancelled lessons. She's patient and a good teacher and I strongly recommend her for piano lessons.
Matthias provided music lessons for me. I really enjoyed the experience. I learned a lot about playing the piano and his music selections really lifted my spirits at a time in which I had some medical complications. I would recommend Matthias to anyone or organization looking to add to their services.
Mrs. Evans is AWESOME! She is really knowledgeable about teaching piano and gives her students opportunities to perform, grow, compete, and have so much fun learning piano!
Rebekah taught both of my children piano lessons for 3 years when they were elementary school students. She did a great job encouraging them in their playing and helping them to find music they would want to play. Her personality and enthusiasm make her a joy to work with.
Having taken jazz piano lessons with Jeff for 2 years, I can assure you that he is an excellent pianist and teacher. Jeff does a wonderful job of creating an atmosphere of comfort and creativity, giving me the encouragement and knowledge to explore and expand upon my own ideas. Jeff also led me to various performance opportunities and programs in and around the city, which helped me hone my skills and learn to play with a group. Above all, Jeff is passionate about his work, and this certainly shines through in his teaching.
Cristin is very knowledgeable and very patient. I am glad I chose to attend her studio for my daughter's piano lessons. My daughter is excited about learning from her and so am I.
Professional experience in piano teaching. Students participate in a concerts and festivals.
Sadie is one of the most knowledgeable and patient teachers we've ever used. She gives lessons to four of our children and she knows exactly what each of their strengths and weaknesses are. Sadie is flexible with your hours, she communicates well through phone calls and texts, Hanchey uses new motivational tools to encourage our children to practice piano at home. She provides very clear instructions on what homework she expects them to complete before the next lesson. Overall, Sadie is a wonderful and hardworking teacher who gets the most out of her students.
I teach piano to students from ages seven to adult. I love teaching piano and am currently looking for new students. I teach in the parlor at my church in Bedford.
My service stands out because I am a musician/teacher with a Master of Music degree and a professional performing background as a pianist and soprano in solo and ensemble classical concerts, operas, musical theatre, solo shows, pop/jazz gigs, cruise ships, and as a church organist and choir director. I am able to coach my students in piano and vocal technique, music fundamentals, all styles of repertoire, and performing techniques.
I teach piano, music theory and composition. Currently, I am a candidate for doctor of musical arts at the Cleveland Institute of Music.
I'm a second year Kent State University student. I have over 15 years of musical pianist experience and have been taking private lessons up until 2013. I am interested in teaching children how great it is and what a talent it truly is to learn and master the techniques of the piano. Although I have a little experience in teaching, I'd be interested in teaching basics, scales and pieces, as well as techniques at a low cost that you will not necessarily find among teachers. I'm friendly and have much experience working and interacting with children of all ages. I'd be happy to teach any day of the weekend including evenings.
I am a 2010 graduate of Mount Union College and a soon-to-be graduate of the Dana School of Music at Youngstown State University. Both of my degrees are in piano performance, and I have been teaching private piano lessons for six years.
Mr. L. has a wealth of experience in terms of playing and teaching. He has 7 years of experience in teaching and 15 years in performance. Aside from focusing on skill training (mainly for teenager), he emphasizes more on the expression of music, how to play the beautiful sound, and the concept of harmony.
Each person is unique and gifted.
I've been teaching piano lesson for years. I am a very patient teacher and like to think of some creative teaching way to bring out students' interests on piano. I'd like to share my knowledge of music and let more people love and enjoy music!
