I first begin working with John on 2/21/14. At the time I was in my opinion very overweight, lacked confidence, and quite frankly lost. When I met John for an initial introduction/evaluation, he was a wealth of invaluable information and contagious enthusiasm. I personally work out with John twice a week (M,W) and although the workouts are intense, they are not as excruciating as they once were, and have become addicting. I also wish to point out that I also keep a very meticulous food journal and workout Sun, Tues and Thurs on my own. With John we primarily focus on weight/strength training, whereas when I'm not there, I do intense cardio. I have lost over 30 pounds, and gained some muscle and definition. Next Wednesday I will be celebrating my 37th. birthday. I just came back from visiting friends in Michigan, and they were shocked by how much I lost and my overall build. Going clothes shopping has become an enjoyable experience! I personally want to lose another 20 pounds as a personal goal, but my co-workers think that would be overkill. Mark Hedegore work outs are challenging and motivating. He mixed up my workouts to keep me interested and having fun all while I was gaining strength and coordination. I always left feeling great ! Hello every one I would like to tell you about yoga classes with Chris O'Loughlin. As a beginner yoga student I have found after an average hour long class that my body feels much better then its use to feeling. I have a number of stress related issues for which I have found some relief threw yoga with Chris. Some of the things that stand out to me about his classes are that there often very small and that makes it easy for me as beginner to get the instructions and corrections I need so my poses are in the right positions and so I am getting the most out of doing yoga. I have heard of how many places have a low teacher to student ratio often one teacher to 20 or more students. I find his classes refreshing and great to experience. I highly suggest anyone interested in yoga to try his classes out he's a really nice relaxed laid back kind of guy easy to get along with and very personable. give him a try his classes are worth it.
I have worked with 3 personal trainers in the past 15 years. All three have been outstanding; however, Scott has kept me coming back for more! The workouts are tough - as they should be! They are always changing so I don't get bored with the same routine - as they should be! Ninety-nine percent of the time I leave the workout feeling well spent and thoroughly worked out. Plus - I have fun doing it as Scott is just a cool guy. He has a great sense of humor and that is definitely a part of the workout. Scott makes this process (I mean who really loves working out!) something I DO look forward to weekly. I must enjoy the experience as I am going on 3 years of working out with him! ;-)
I met Aaron at my gym as he overheard me one day discussing my struggles with my workouts. He suggested I train with him and offered me a program that fit my needs. Aaron is a phenomenal trainer. His knowledge in the fitness field is endless. Every 4 weeks or so he changed up my workout plan. I only trained with Aaron once a week but he checked in on me on a regular basis. This was key for me as I am not exactly a self-motivated person. Knowing he was always available to answer any questions I had was key to me as well. I see other trainers do the same workouts over and over again. Aaron always brought something new to the table. Some days we would box or work on agility and others we would simply weight train but it was ALWAYS a killer workout. I built a bond and a friendship with Aaron and I really believe he cares about his clients. Aaron is a top-notch trainer! Kind, caring, and compassionate. I promise you your workouts with Aaron will never be boring!
Jim is my He-Man. Motivating myself was extremely challenging while touring in a show for a year and a half. Jim saved me!!!! Hed give me extremely thorough workouts via email every week. Each workout was different, challenging and made me sweat. Jim would also skype with me to make sure I was clear on every exercise! Jims energy is infectious. Instead of eating fried chicken and watching the tube Jim encouraged me to maintain discipline and health. I will forever be grateful!
I've been training with Jason for 2 years. I came to him having gained 10 lbs in my new job and I needed help badly. I have since lost the 10 lbs and a bit more, lost 10% body fat and added muscle. I am back to my natural body weight. I work out 3 days a week with Jason and add 2-3 days per week more of cardio. The great thing is that as I have gotten older and more prone to aches and pains, Jason has designed routines that get results but that don't injure me. The gym is small, quiet and comfortable. The attention is personal. I have highly recommended Rev Fitness and Therapy to several of my friends and co-workers and they love it too.
Jessica is amazing. I really enjoy my workouts with her and actually look forward to them during the week. She is motivating and was helping in creating a great meal plan for me too. I'm really glad she is flexible with her schedule and able to come to me since I have such a hectic and busy schedule myself.
