I hired Jordan to help me with a kitchen drain clog. I really appreciated Jordan’s tips throughout the process. He took apart my pipes under the sink & showed me the gunk inside. When I offered to clean them, he insisted that he do it. Next, he snaked the pipe from the sink to the main water flow pipes. It didn’t quite go through, so he did it a 2nd time. A clog still remained. Jordan explained with the age of the house, there were no traps to snake the pipe that ran from the sink to the main water flow pipes from the basement. That’s where the clog was. For an additional fee, he cut out a portion of the pipe & replaced with another pipe that had a trap so that future snaking could take place from the basement with a straight path to the main flow pipe. Omg! He showed me what had accumulated in the old pipe since the house was built in 1978. It was horrific. People, get your pipe from the garbage disposal to the Main flow pipe cleaned often so this doesn’t happen to you. And call Jordan to do it. Responsive, on time & willing to give you good advice. Bravo to Jordan for saving the day. I will be calling him annually to clean our pipes.

Fantastic service. I left a message with them on Easter Sunday. They respond around 7am the next day. They were able to get a plumber out to our house 3 hours later. I wasn't expecting same day service much less only 3 hours after contact. The plumber (Shane) was awesome. He identified where the clog in the waste line was and believed that a portion of our washer drain pipe was cracked. He gave us a fair price and went to work. When he realized that the washer drain pipe was not cracked, he was honest about it and did not charge us. I highly recommend them. Fast, honestly, friendly, and reliable.

The pipes under my kitchen sink were leaking as well as the drain in the right side. The toilet was leaking and I had a clogged drain in the basement.

The kitchen and bath jobs are complete 100% satisfaction. The basement drain however will need a specialist. Of course Mike had no way of knowing how bad it was until 5 hours later when he hadn't made any progress with it, but he sure tried his damnedest!

Mike was very professional and efficient. He even gave me some tips and taught me some basics. I will use Decorators Choice in the future if the need arises.

Hired this plumbing company to work on our remodel he stated all work was guaranteed to be done right
1- missed water to toilet
( we caught this and they fixed install)
2- did not trim master shower and guest drains just capped off pipes , we had to cut the floors open to install the proper drains causing over 10 hours of extra work on a job that would have taken 15 minutes
Note they trimmed the other 3 toilets and 6 sinks & 2 showers the right way

3- installed bath sinks 2 different ways one from wall 2 Nd from floor when told all vanities were of a floating type install
Claiming sink could not be install from wall
But when told we would just get different plumbers he did the install

4 - installed guest vent pipe on outside brick wall causing the pipe to stick out 1/2” from wall instead of running pipe on wall to the right that would have given all the room to hide pipe in wall We have no idea how to hide this screw up

5- failed to reinstall sheet rock they removed to fix above items

This company should stick to very basic plumbing services and not large jobs
That put them way over their skill level

I enjoyed having Discount Drains. Overall 4.5/5

Pros:
- Punctual
- Professional
- Knowledgeable
- Friendly

Con:
- I did ask to have the hose bib replaced with a quarter turn one and was give a standard turn instead. The plumber explained he prefers to use a specific brand for these pipes as they are better quality and have a good warranty, and that brand doesn’t carry quarter turn. This was acceptable but still disappointing. He did also suggest a workaround.

A. Replaced sewer/groundwater main drain in basement floor. Black pipe cut jagged. Did not cut black pipe level. Did not clean up. Left a mess. (See View 1) I cleaned up and smoothed cement as best as I could (See View 2)
B. Tracked down leak in bathroom vanity to faucet & shut off valves. Did not have appropriate tools, so we lended him some of ours. Damaged bathroom vanity with saws-all. Used a bent worn-out blade. Didn't say anything when I bought a single handle faucet that would impede access to electrical outlet, just installed it. After I discovered my mistake & bought new two handle faucet, he got frustrated with installation problems. I later discovered several pieces were installed backwards. Left project unfinished and walked off the job. Very unprofessional language and attitude.

Where to start? Ok, we just bought our first forever home and experienced some leakage in the basement. I requested a plumber and wish I’d have never chosen this company. He came out, gave us 3 options like a bad used car salesman with the good better and best, which just went from snaking the line, snaking line and toilet, and snaking line/toilet plus dehumidifiers. The “best” option was quoted at 999, and when I saw that we can rent our own dehumidifiers from Home Depot for $170 for 2 days, I was going to go with the middle option of snaking drain/toilet. He pushed the “best” option on us for $850 and I agreed. He snaked the line and claimed to have pulled up tree roots (see pics - it actually looks like hair to me, not roots), and said the line was compromised somewhere. He came back the next day to camera the line and claimed to be unable to do it due to standing sludge. He then recommended to excavate my entire yard and replace 10-15 feet of pipe for $7500, which could be more if they dug it up and it was further compromised. Rather than commit to a very costly repair, I got a second opinion. Plumber #2 came out with a very large auger and got through the entire line in less than 1 hour. No tree roots came up and he couldn’t believe that this company had recommended excavating.

THIS COMPANY ISN’T EVEN ON BBB WHICH IS VERY SHADY, so I can’t even file a formal complaint against them. They are insisting that their costly excavations are necessary and actually told me that I’ll be having plumbers coming out every month for this now nonexistent issue. Straight ripoff! Jumped right into the worst case scenario to try to upsell me work that’s not necessary. They can’t even admit they’re wrong! Plumber #2 also said the auger they used wasn’t even the right kind…I question if this guys even a licensed plumber
