I was planning to focus on just rock n roll but I've been introduced to a much broader array of music including funk, blues, jazz, reggae, and metal as well as different techniques used within each genre. Lessons have been great and have helped me learn not only what to play, but why I'm playing it too. She was picking up the basics within a couple weeks, and then doing more advanced work within a couple months. He both helped her with her school solos and taught her how to improvise.
