Jack worked around my schedule and did a good job repairing my screen door (when the screen wasn't ripped on my sliding door he suggesting using the same one and just replaced some of the tubing that holds it in place saving me money) and caulking my granite counters. All in all he made the process easy and affordable making me ask myself why I have been fumbling through home repairs along.

Mr. Bowser installed a ceiling fan. He did an excellent job of removing the old fan and installing the new. He appeared to be very knowledgeable about what he was doing. Mr. Bowser also took some window screens to repair and returned with them in just two days, putting them back into the frame for me. He noted that they had been put in backward by someone else. Mr. Bowser is personable and communicates well. His fee for the service provided was the most reasonable among others I contacted. I will call him again for other work in the future.

Overall everything was pretty good. She put some elbow grease into areas that needed a lot of attention. But after I paid her and she left I noticed that the last area she had cleaned (master bedroom bathroom) it was more of a wipe down instead of a scrub. There was still soap scum all over the shower walls and pretty obvious that the drains were still covered in soapscum. It was also getting late and I am sure she wanted to get home, I was tired also. I will definitely use her again, but I will try and get her to start a little earlier.

Hired Jerry to repair a faucet. He was early! Made the repair to the leaky hot supply and checked and repaired the cold supply as it looked like it could become an issue soon (bonus). Great work and will use him again in the future.

Shane installed a patio door on the rear of my home. There was a window in the spot, but no patio door, so framing needed to be completed and the exterior needed to be finished. Weather and bad luck threw some curveballs in the project, but nothing that could have been avoided. My only reason for the good vs excellent review is the the job was not completely finished. The exterior finishing and drywall finishing was left up to me. I am capable, so it's not a big deal, but I assumed this would have been taken care of. Overall, Shane was nice, professional, clean, and responsive.

We contracted with Ian Cheadle of Cheadle Construction (937.580.9098) on December 4, 2015, and we are very glad we did. The project centered around the replacement of carpeted and tiled flooring with 3/8 inch Engineered Hardwood in a glue-down installation. This was a project that we, homeowners, had started the previous May, but after completing our great room, the project lost momentum leaving our downstairs in a half-baked configuration. We were simply not looking forward to tackling the myriad of difficult cuts required for our front entry-way, parlor, and hallway, all of which are at odd angles to the walls opposite. In late November, we decided to hire a professional. We found Ian and contacted him via email and he came to our condominium ON TIME, sized up the work and had an estimate/contract prepared for us shortly thereafter. Some prices are a set amount, while others are by square-foot or linear foot. It was all clear up-front. We removed the baseboards, carpet, carpet liner, carpet tack strips, and tile ourselves, revealing a concrete sub-floor upon which the new project would be glued. We were not, however, able to chip away the mortar that was underneath the tile. Lucky for us, Ian had a tool similar to a jack hammer that was able to do that job. The particular choice of materials and the method of installation were ours, and were not products he had worked with prior. Ian listened to our own experiences and in addition did his own research, including contacting the company. So when he began work, he was able to hit the ground running. We should mention that this was "click and lock" flooring in name only; it takes some real persuasion with a hammer to get each piece to lay flat. And the glue, although a great product, is also very messy, requiring constant cleanup. The project also involved the installation of baseboards. We chose 1x4 common board, and did the sanding, priming, and painting ourselves, leaving the cuts and installation for Ian. He caulked all the gaps, leaving a finished, professional look. There were no surprises during the installation. Ian asked all the right questions, and turned our vision into reality in less than a week. Having done this work, ourselves, the previous May, I can tell you that his constantly cheerful attitude must be a superpower of some sort. So, now, the project is complete, the place looks great and we can once again welcome our cars into the garage, just in time for winter. This is a link to a photo on google drive showing some of Ian's work: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B4P1TMU9HITkMWk4Y0dIVG0wSGM/view?usp=sharing We were delighted with how it all turned out. Tom did an awesome job! He was on time, and when he couldn't be on time, he called to keep me informed. If additional work needed to be done to make the job perfect , Tom took the time to explain how the additional work would improve the outcome. I had both baths redone, new doors and storms installed, my chimney rebuilt, gutter guards installed and my deck brought up to code. Place looks amazing!!!

Curt has done all our house painting for us since 2004. Curt recently has done all the painting and repairs to our home before it was put on the market. It included wall paper removal, drywall repair, exterior door replacement and interior and exterior painting. He is fast, neat and very reasonably priced. We hope to get him to come to NC and work on our new house.
