Lisa is amazing!!! She is on time and she is by far very efficient and what she does. I was so excited to start my rocko on training and she really was a perfect choice I recommend her to anyone who has a budget and is looking the perfect Trainer!
I need to say some great things about Sit Means Sit, also known as Come on Command. I have had dogs my whole life and never had a problem. Shepherds, beagle mixes, cairne terriors, Australian Shepherds, etc, no problems. I got Gibbs and it was game on. He was smart as a whip and eager to please but scared aggressive. He has given me twisted elbows, sprained wrists, a hurt hip, broken a gentle leader, ignored a prong collar, and laughed at a no-jump harness. We finally met with a trainer and though it seemed pricy at the first we went ahead and paid for a positive reinforcement collar. We are almost done with training and it has been great but tonight I almost wept with relief at watching the lesson with my dog learning to not be crazy, lunging, get them first attack man with other dogs. He's a good dog and we love Gibbs but to see him finally -not- going insane in attempt to get them first made me almost cry. I couldn't have had this moment without the trainers from Sit Means Sit and I greatly greatly appreciate them. I am hopeful to pass the off leash test for all commands next month when we go for it but if we have a relapse or forgotten command, they guarantee it and will keep training Gibbs until he passes with flying colors. Right now though, I am so pleased with his advancement I think it was worth every penny!!!
Amy had a ton of knowledge on our puppy issues. We are looking forward to her assisting us in training him.
I had a great experience working with Jeff. I have two active, wild and crazy dogs. Before working with Jeff, I would be nervous to set foot outside with my dogs on a leash. Both are strong and curious to chase squirrels, other dogs, and people. I was pulled and drug through the grass on multiple occasions by them. Both my dogs and I went through Jeff's 12 week off-leash program, and it has changed our lives. I can walk both of my dogs outside, with no leash, and they respond to each command I give. Chasing squirrels, and sniffing other dogs, is now available for them, but only if I give a command that it's okay to do so. And the best part is, Jeff's training actually worked. My dogs are able to be dogs, and enjoy their time outside, while listening to me at the same time. My dogs were extremely different in how they handled training. Mia, did not respond well to the e-collar. But Jeff continued to work with me and her, and she was able to work through her anxiety. Today, you wouldn't notice that she used to hide and shake before every training, because today she looks forward to putting on her collar to have the freedom to run and play like she never had the opportunity to before. My other dog, Dingo, never minded the collar once, and was able to learn and grow just the same. I am proud of both of them for what they were able to accomplish. If you are hesitant about how your dog will handle the e-collar, Jeff is equipped for any experience, and the result will be excellent no matter what.
The trainer that I talked was very helpful and listened to my needs in training my puppy and even offered additional training in the futurer
Jordan will help your dog through any problems they may have. He is very personable and will take the time to make sure you are comfortable with training as well as methods of reinforcement. Recommend!"
The owner Brian is very good with our dog. He treated him like he was his. He was very professional and patient with him. He was very very good.
We have historically taken our three dogs to a boarding facility during our trips out of town. However, our two English Mastiffs are getting up there in age and our young English Bulldog tends to back-step on her house training after a stay away from home. Our female Mastiff has hip issues and requires a body harness and meds. Ashley actually stayed at the house during our trip, which gave us further peace of mind that she was there for them if something may have happened (they tried to eat a sock or hurt a hip, etc.). We also have a rabbit and leopard gecko and previously had to find someone in addition to take care of them. Ashley did it all. On the first night, to our embarrassment, our oldest Mastiff is a crotchety old man and initially let his frustration known of someone new staying in his house by doing his business in the living room. Ashley was very understanding and cleaned up until he felt comfortable with her. They must have enjoyed her company because they slept in the guest bedroom the night after we got home. She cleaned up the house on her last day and did much more than necessary. It was an extra perk that we were able to come home and get a big welcome home from the crew rather than having to go pick them up. Now, I don't want to give Ashley too good of a review in fear of others minimizing our chances of benefiting from her services, but she really did a great job!
We are still a work in progress but after just one visit we can see a major change in Bixby. Tim is a master at not only training our dog but also training us. I look forward to achieving our goals with Bixby.
I had an outstanding experience with Roger White And Off-leash K9 Training. Our 6-month-old schnoodle was completely out of hand. We tried everything to teach her manners, but nothing worked. We even had a trainer come to our home, but that had very limited success. We didn’t know what we were going to do. We have a small granddaughter and older friends. We were concerned how she jumped up on people, walked in front of you, cut you off, and just would not listen. Fortunately, we found Roger. He was readily available and answered all of my questions. We chose the 2-week board and train program. I was impressed with the way he sent frequent progress reports. Following training, it is amazing the changes we have seen. We now have a well-behaved furry family member with manners. Roger is our miracle worker. I never expected such good results. It was money well-spent.
Our puppy Brooklyn is a very smart dog and was doing ok with training, but we were not succeeding due to our own time availability to work with her and our lack of expertise in areas that she was not excelling in. Brittney & Josh were amazing from the first contact through their explanation of their program. I enjoyed watching all of the videos of the past pets they had worked with. They kept us up to date and informed through the entire process and we loved watching her success on social media. At the "go home" training session for us, they did an excellent job at instructing our entire family and even allowing the kids to be a major part in trying to distract her and show how well she could behave, even with their craziness. We still have to follow-up training with her at home to help her to continue her success but she is leaps and bounds ahead of where she was. We are now able to get her calm by putting her in place which will be so helpful when company arrives or when the kids are trying to get ready in the morning for school. We greatly appreciate the calm and patience that Lead the Way provided and we are excited about our future with our well behaved pup.
Shes on time. Flexible on time & day. Abby gets sooo excited to see her everytime we train. Great lady.
Tiffany was great to work with and did an excellent job with Lulu, our goldendoodle puppy. I would highly recommend her!
I was referred to Sky Dogs when I adopted a deaf dog from Spreak! for the Unspoken. Allison Holloway teaches a special needs class for deaf, blind, and deaf-blind dogs and puppies. Once we got the basics down, we found the training staff was open to us joining in other classes. Nosework, treibball, flyball, agility, and many other courses are open to all dogs. If you need help improving your dog's social skills, there are behavioral classes as well. The cost is very reasonable. The center is located at Central Point in Columbus and there is plenty of well lit parking. Besides the affordable prices and friendly atmosphere, Sky Dogs fosters a sense of community among participants and provides opportunities for people (and their dogs) to volunteer to help out in rescue efforts.
We have been customers for over a year and have been very happy to have someone dependable and trustworthy to take care of our dog. Our dog has been walked every day that we have needed help without exception.
I train dogs with reward training. I train the person how to train their dog and show them how to put it in place.

All breeds are welcome. Our training centers on aggression issues, basic training, and house training. If your dog has some problems in these areas, we can help you. We only use positive reinforcement and tons of love to train your baby. We also work with many rescues in the Central Ohio area.
Meet me at my training site, The Green Barn 4 Dogs, and I will help you learn how to train/communicate with your dog. I'll show you ways to have fun, so both you and your dog will learn new skills.
We can train any dog for any task, obedience or behavioral. Your problem can be trusted with us. Your dog will receive challenging exercise and work for his rewards, resulting in learning and overall mental and physical wellness for your companion. They will be desensitized to a multitude of distraction and be given black and white directions on how to respond to those distractions through praise or corrections. I also provide FitPet daycare for owners seeking to get their dogs well exercised or advanced classes such as agility, sports and protection.
Do you have to bribe, threaten, or trick your dog into listening? Does your dog have to be shut away instead of enjoying life with you? Do you know your dog could be great, if only he wasn’t so wild and out of control? If your dog is barking, biting, chasing, running away, and in general ruining your life, we can help. If your dog listens when there’s nothing better to do, but does what he wants as soon as something more interesting comes along, we can fix that too. The worse your dog is today, the better he can be tomorrow.
