she was nice about telling me the process of online voice lessons
Working with Ms. Davis is an awesome decision! She makes me feel very comfortable and I'm looking forward to my next lesson!
I highly recommend Junbo for voice lessons. His expertise, experience, & patience make his idea for teaching different ages.
My daughter took voice lessons with Katherine to prepare for an audition for SCPA. The experience was very positive and she made it into the school! Katherine was patience and professional with her. I would recommend Katherine to anyone!
I come from a background with no experience in any way, shape, or form for singing. I began this with a lot of apprehension and anxiety; I was unsure and not confident. In first meeting and working with Morgan, I am happy to say that many of my personal shortcomings have been addressed and many others broken through. Morgan has taken me out of my original mindset and has helped me create a new framework centralized around my unique voice and has helped me to learn how to use it well. After working with Morgan for a couple of months now, the progress I have noticed within myself is astounding. He comes to the table with a large, successful background in the industry and a plethora of information to share that makes the process all the easier and more enjoyable than I had initially thought. Whether you are a trained professional looking to train in your specific niche, or are a newcomer like myself and are fresh into this, Morgan has something to bring to the table that will help you grow to be even better than you were before.
When I began to get into the material, there were new and clever methods of memorizing techniques and theory that I had never seen nor heard of in all my years of taking lessons. The memorization techniques are clever and easy to remember. I think anyone can learn to play a piano with Miami Valley Music Instructions, even though they may have never played a note in their life.
Daniel is a fantastic pianist and more importantly he will adapt his teaching style to his student's ability and age. As an adult student I found him to be knowledgeable, patient and I appreciated his willingness to integrate theory and technique into his lessons. I would highly recommend him. Keith
Hayley was my first ever voice teacher - she was phenomenal! I was so nervous to take lessons, or to sing in front of anyone, and I truly feel like the time I spent working with her made me a better singer. I definitely recommend her!
Singing is like playing a sport. Except that all the muscles and technique occur inside the body, out of sight. Kathy has an incredibly attuned ear to listen for exactly what is happening inside your body while you sing, whether you're in her studio or dialing in remotely over Skype. What's more, she seems to have a limitless supply of exercises and tricks to coax the correct technique out of you. Her instructions can connects the sounds in your mind to the feeling of your body creating those sounds for real. I had been trying to figure things out on my own for years and years, practicing with brute force, listening to and imitating my favorite songs, and finding tips or lessons online and anywhere else. With just a handful of lessons, Kathy had me singing with more power, accuracy, and with greater endurance than I thought possible. She endowed me with a toolkit to craft exactly the sound I wanted out of my voice, expanded my vocal range, and even provided practical tips and tricks to surviving a performance, both physical and mental. I should probably add that I lean towards harder rock and roll with an edge in the vocals, and everything Kathy taught only made that easier to achieve. I can't say enough good things about Golden Voice lessons!
Renée is an experienced, well-trained professional who is already helping me use my voice better.
My daughters have been taking lessons for the last 5 years and have had a great experience. We love the teachers and the recitals are great. I would highly recommend Sharp School of Music.
Talia was my first voice teacher! I was very new to singing in general and she made me feel very comfortable and really took time to work with me. I studied with her for a little over a year and during that time I learned more about singing that I ever thought was possible! She had several different ways of explaining concepts which was great since I was new to singing! She took time out of her weekend to go to operas with me and some other students. She is one of the main people that sparked my interest in singing and I am currently pursuing a Masters degree in Music and I have a bachelors degree in music as well. She is an excellent teacher and I highly recommend her!
I've been taking voice lessons with Allison for 4 months. Allison is knowledgable and professional. The lessons are enjoyable and I'm seeing improvement in my singing. I appreciate her willingness to let me choose some of the songs I'm learning and the flexibility to work around my schedule. I'm an older adult who has wanted to take voice lessons for a long time. I'm glad I finally started and that I found the Sharp School of Music.

I teach voice and general music. This includes solfege, music theory, and other musical basics. Lessons start out at 1 hour per week, but if more time is requested, a schedule can be worked out. The best thing about music is that everyone can get involved. Everyone can do something. Why not give it a chance?
We provide highly educated and experienced vocal teachers. They work with their students to find and strengthen their own unique voice.

I specializes in college -- prep as well as postgraduate repertoire. My audition knowledge and close relationship with many voice faculty around the country helps my sense of repertoire choices for young and mature singers alike. Though all students are welcome to audition, the private studio does not take students younger than thirteen years old.
We offer fundamental skills training in vocal delivery and stage presence. We also provide primary instruction in level one for beginners in the modern Greek, French and Japanese languages.
