Introduction: Hey, I’m Jake! Congratulations on your upcoming ceremony. I’m so glad you stopped by my page. I became ordained in 2014 to officiate the wedding of a friend. They weren’t interested in the “church wedding” experience and decided they’d like to have a friend do it. Afterwards, attendees told me how amazing the ceremony I’d written was, and how it was “perfect for them”. I thought, maybe I have the right mix of creativity, empathy, and humor to help make other couples’ special day unique and perfect too. After a handful of similar experiences officiating for family and friends, I decided to branch out- and I’m so glad that I did! I write and officiate all types of ceremonies-from formal “big venue” weddings to smaller, intimate elopements. I even help some couples with their vows if they intend to write their own. Every ceremony I write is custom-written for the couple. I believe every couple deserves their perfect ceremony- not something filled with generic, repetitive language. I think having the right officiant who is able to craft a ceremony totally unique to the couple not only makes the process more enjoyable and stress-free, it adds value to what is likely the most important day of their lives so far. I’m excited at the prospect of working with you to create a unique ceremony in any setting- whether it’s a traditional or modern, solemn or a filled with laughs.
