it was my daughters first lesson James was awesome! We will definitely be going back for more lessons!
Sharon was great to work with and schedule lessons for me and my daughter. Have already had a great start. Highly recommended.
Currently taking lessons with Jessica, and it is truly a joy! I'm an adult learner, and she really works with me and with my schedule. She has such grace and musicality, it is really awesome! I would recommend her to anyone!
She was excellent professionally and connected with the student well. The lesson was a pleasure.
Maria is absolutely amazing! I have never taken voice lessons before, and I have to admit I was a little skeptical about if someone could actually "teach" me my voice and how to sing- I thought it was either 'you have it or you don't have it'. All I can say is WOW! She is no doubt a master at what she does. Our first lesson far exceeded my expectations and I can't wait for my next lesson. She was the first person to respond to me on here and man am I glad I called her first!
Joseph has been great! He's helped to cater lessons and challenges to fit my goals with violin. I would definitely recommend him!
My first lesson with Jeff was fantastic! He is very relaxed and easy to learn from. I look forward to many lessons in the future.
Julie Williams is a very professional and knowledgeable music teacher that has guided me through my first few piano lessons. I had contacted her to learn music theory and to play the piano. Her approach is to start with the basics and to build from there. I highly recommend her as a teacher who has the ability to guide a person through music lessons that will lead to success.
Rick is a great guitar instructor. He is very patient and also able to customize the class based on student's unique situation and learning needs, flexible on the time as well. For someone like me who barely have any music background nor experience, making up the mind to learn a new instrument at the age of 27 is never easy, but now with Rick's help and his tailored teaching method & approach, I'm really enjoying my guitar lesson now and can't wait to learn new stuff every week. Rick will make sure that every week's assignment will be challenging, but not overwhelming, and I do feel great pride in accomplishing those small challenges one at a time.
Was incredibly helpful in teaching me proper form and technique. Starting out I had a lot of sloppy habits. My breathing needed help and so did my confidence. After taking lessons with Darius I was finally able to project and used my diaphragm! Minimizing the use of my breathy tone.
Fern was my piano teacher for about 8 years. She trained me classically and I became an accomplished pianist due to her. She helped me read music, taught me scales and chords and brought from a beginner pianist to an advanced level. She is very reliable: she was always punctual and never cancelled lessons. She's patient and a good teacher and I strongly recommend her for piano lessons.
Matthias's enthusiasm and love for music shines through in his teaching. His appreciation for an eclectic range of musical genres enables him to connect with a broad spectrum of students. Take a lesson with him, and you won't be disappointed.
Professional experience in piano teaching. Students participate in a concerts and festivals.
I offer piano, flute, and voice lesson to any age of student or adult. I am a music major at the University of Akron and am almost complete with my Music Education degree. Therefore I am qualified, but most importantly I enjoy teaching and helping others succeed and grow. I have been teaching private lessons for 5 years as well as I continue to grow as a musician and educator myself. I am an active member of the Ohio Music Educators association and also volunteer in many of the local schools surrounding Akron.
I stand out as a guitar teacher because I have a music theory and classical background that helps students better understand what they are playing and opens them up to different ways of playing than just strumming chords. I adjust my lesson plans to each student to suit their interests and abilities. If a student has a question I will go to any lengths to find their answer.
I'm very enthuse in helping people in every detail. I like to help people learn the application.

I believe my educational background gave me opportunities that many other music educators did not have. My two bachelors degrees and countless hours of experience lend to a teacher that knows what's best for you or your child.

I taylor the lesson around YOUR needs and interests. I make learning FUN and help you build CONFIDENCE in your abilities.
