Introduction: Hello, Thank you for contacting me about music lessons. Depending on the age of the student, I teach using either a more traditional approach (were the student learns to play the instrument and read music at the same time), or the Suzuki Method (where the student learns by ear and through demonstration to get comfortable with the instrument and also to build their musical skills. After they have been learning for about a year, I then begin to introduce music reading to the lessons). I have been teaching music for well over 20 years, and like to incorporate all kinds of musical styles to suit the musical interests of the student. Lessons are $17.50 for the half hour.
