Steve's Yard Care:
Part One (07/05/2016): I put in a request for lawn service using Thumbtack at about 5:45 PM. I received a rather prompt response from Steve, so I called him around 6:30 PM. No one answered; however, shortly after I called, Steve called me back. I explained that I am moving into a new home, the lawn hadn't been cut for a while, and I was concerned about our new Homeowners' Association fining us right out of the gate if we didn't get it cut relatively soon. To my surprise, Steve said he would swing by the place tomorrow, text me a quote while I was at work, and assuming I was ok with the price, he would go on and take care of everything, and I could come down after work and leave him a check. (This is customer service at its finest! He is going to do the job and is trusting me to pay him!)
Part 2 (07/06/2016): Steve gave me a call at 12:23 PM today. He was already down at my new home in Norman checking out the property. Instead of sending a text, he called and spoke to me just to make sure that if he opened the gate to my back yard, he wasn't going to accidentally let a dog out. Steve and I talked through what I wanted done to the yard, and then we had a very open discussion about the price. He was very reasonable. Once we got off the phone, Steve took care of the yard. When I finished up at work, I drove down to Norman to check things out. I was very pleased with the job that was done. The yard looked great, the grass clippings had been bagged and taken away, and the edging and weed-eating was very well done!
Overall Steve is excellent at what he does. He provides a level of customer service, that in this day and age, isn't always easy to find. In addition, his business services far exceeded my expectations. From start to finish (beginning my search for a lawn service, and having the job completed) it took less than 24 hours! Steve even did a follow-up call with me this evening just to make sure I was satisfied!
