Michael and the crew did a fantastic job on our complete interior paint project. They were punctual and extremely professional each and every day they were here. They even were very gracious in working around our pets and the fact that we were in the house with them during the entire job. Every day they cleaned up after themselves and removed all their tools from our house and brought them back in on the following day. It's as if we weren't even in the middle of a painting project. They helped us move things from room to room as they moved through the house during the week. We hope to have them back to paint the exterior of our house very soon.
Installed my porch swing within twenty-four hours of giving me a quote for the work.
Dan installed a dog door for us and repaired our front porch. Both projects were done well and we are extremely pleased with his work! Highly recommend him!
I can't say enough about Rick Hinds and the roofing crew at TRS, Inc. I found TRS, Inc., on Thumbtack after receiving quotes from two other companies. Rick was prompt for appointments, always responded to phone calls and text messages in a timely manner, and completed the roofing project at the property without delay or interruption (other than 1 day of inclement weather). Rick certainly knows his trade and code requirements. He was very helpful with my decisions as to roofing materials and shingle color. I recommend Rick Hinds and TRS, Inc., without reservation! In fact, I'm so impressed that I'm using TRS, Inc., for exterior door replacements! Once again, Rick made suggestions and recommendations for the doors while keeping in mind my budget. Thanks, Rick, and the crew at TRS, Inc., for a nice new roof and for leaving my yard as tidy as you found it!!
Decorative beams on the front of the house we rotted and needed replacing. One was "semi"structural" in that it held up the porch roof. Jeff was very professional and did a great job. The beam look better than the originals!
I bought an older house built in the 60's with the intentions of gutting/remodeling. I basically was referred to Cody from a friend who had used him. I really had no idea of what I wanted as far as tile choices etc. When Cody gave his opinion on what he thought I should install I just went with it. I'm glad I did. He remodeled all our floors, the kitchen including back splash, our guest bath and master bath. What I didn't expect when I hired him was the amount of knowledge he had. Not with just installation but his design ideas were awesome. He actually tiled the front of my bar /counter top leading to kitchen with a natural stone that looked amazing. I receive more compliments on it then anything else in the house. Cody was very nice and when he said he would be there working he was. Not everyone is out there just to try and make a quick buck. Cody actually enjoys what he's doing and it shows in his work. Since then we have actually sold the house. And for quite a bit more than we owed! When talking to the realtor he advised me it was all possible because of the tile upgrades. Best decision ever!
Outdoor living and masonry work was excellent! Had a stone and brick wall built around pool equipment, rock columns built around pavilion posts, a tile wall around pool filters, and stone work on front of house to hang new porch light.
Tim from Shineco power washed my lengthy two side walks, front porch, back porch, and big driveway. Everything is bright white now! My neighbors all gathered around and were marveling at how great it looked. They arrived on time, told me how long it would take, and were extremely friendly. I loved my experience.
Jeff and his team did an amazing job on our front yard landscaping job. It went from a small overgrown grass bed that the builders didn't keep up to a beautiful bed with a curved stone wall and a colorful array of plants. I had a design in my head and Jeff went above and beyond! Best thing is the easy upkeep they do of weeding and keeping an eye of the plants to make sure they're flourishing, couldn't ask for a better landscaper! Definitely using him for all of my future needs and recommend his team for anyone's yard needs no matter how small or large.
Concrete went very well, cement truck had to drive onto my lawn, wish they would have put plywood down. Now I have 2 dirt strips through my lawn, very ugly. Still waiting for the porch to sealed, part weather delay and part human. Josh was very good at making suggestions on how to do the job properly and his team are very skilled.
Alex, the owner was referred through the nextdoor.com website. I requested referrals and he was one of them recommended. After researching his website and other locations on the Internet he was contacted for an estimate. I was impressed that the owner/operator answered the phone and was quick to respond to provide an estimate. We only had a general idea of what we wanted and knew the grade of the land would provide some challenges. Alex was able to answer every question, provide suggestions as to what they could do and took all the necessary measurements. Within a few minutes he provided a written estimate that was approximately 1/2 of a landscape firm we had talked to previously. We established a tentative start date that had to be moved back because of other construction being done on the property. A fence was being replaced and should have been installed before the drainage and pavement. Alex worked hard to coordinate with the fence company so all work could be completed efficiently and professionally. Before we actually started work we discussed stamped vs stained concrete. His website had some beautiful pictures. Once we looked it all over we increased the project to the flagstone stamp colored to accent our house. We had them take out a small walkway garden and made it as wide as the front porch. Essentially this makes a nice sitting area in the front our house. The week his crews were working on my property was hectic, but orderly. All of the individuals on the crews were very polite and extremely hard workers. The heat was extreme, but the leads made sure breaks were taken and personnel were safe. As the work progressed and questions arose, either one of the crew could answer, or I could call Alex. He was always available. Alex was on property a lot of the time overseeing the work. Despite the extreme heat and issues by the fence company, the projects all went very smoothly. It was amazing to watch everything come together. We have fought mud battles on both sides our house since we moved in 13-years ago. The concrete sidewalks and patio are an awesome addition. The stamped area in front of the house evolved step by step, each one more exciting that the last. When cleaned up and finished, it was better than we could have imagined. Alex and his crew have transformed our home into an area that the neighbors slow to see the work. Numerous people have already seen his work and asked for his contact information, which I have gladly given. I strongly recommend Alex's Construction without any reservations.
Billy Dunn has been maintaining our lawn since early August. He also did our branch clean up after the ice storm after Thanksgiving. He did an excellent job. In addition to these jobs, Billy built a deck on our front porch in early November. Its awesome and we look forward to using Billy's Creations for additional projects this spring.
I had Backyard Builders put up 275ft of cedar fence with steel posts and two gates. They worked in the rain to complete the job in a timely manner. Quotes are detailed and adds to the level of confidence you'll have when you hire them. Only ran into a couple issues which they addressed quickly. There was a small issue with the quote and some ruts were left in my yard. I live on a hill and gave them permission to bring the trailer full of concrete down closer. They filled the ruts and fixed the quote. Very happy with the service they provided which also extended after the job was completed.

My brother John and I took over the family business in 2002, after our mother suffered from a stroke. John has been on the job since 1999. While I basically grew up on the job site, I was never afraid to learn and ask questions about how things were done. So, I was blessed to be around highly skilled tradesmen who were more than willing to train me in their respective trades. I have a lot of respect for the people who have taught me over the years, and I try to honor them by performing my jobs with a high-quality craftsmanship, and integrity. Our company has started as a painting contracting firm, and it has since evolved into much more. We are now a painting and remodeling firm that can assist you with the design process. With not only our experience, but also we have a great network of subs, architects, and designers. We use high-quality materials, and we have a large amount of pride in our work. We want all of our projects to last and to satisfy the client's needs. We look at our responsibility a little different from most construction firms, in that we want to do what is best for the client, their project, and the environment. Our clients are often impressed with our work and our attention to detail. In fact, a few years back, we were hired to paint a house in Guthrie. This house was close to a hundred years old and had needed to be repainted ten years sooner. I mean this thing looked like a mangy dog (it was peeling so bad). We pressure washed, scraped and sanded, primed and painted the house like we always do in these cases. When we were finished, we received calls from people wanting our services, which is cool; that is what you want. The thing is, many of these people thought we had sided the house with vinyl siding; the job looked so good. But to me, the greatest part was the owner's response; he said that he was truly impressed. Because he said that he hired us to paint his house, and it felt as though we had given him a new house. That is the kind of response I hope to have on each and every job.
