Introduction: Music has been my passion since I was old enough to tap my foot. I believe that music helps create better people. It helps us celebrate what it means to be human. I started my career in education 10 years ago with a degree in instrumental music education. Having taught over 700 beginning guitarists, I have seen every kind of student and learned how to cater instruction to their individual needs. I continue to study and expand my knowledge today by sharing music of all styles and genres with the community of Oklahoma City. Music is everything to me. I love seeing students experience the joys of music.

Mitch Kusbel has taught me guitar on and off for several years. He is an exceptional teacher and excellent at tailoring his teaching to his students goals. He has worked with me on styles ranging from classical to bluegrass to punk and I have never had a bad experience. I would recommend him to guitarists of all skill levels. Stand up guy :)

Mitch is a patient and thorough guitar teacher. He will teach you how to read music as well as improvise in any style. In addition to teaching, Mitch is a versatile guitar player. He plays solo classical guitar and also plays in a gypsy trio and folk music band. I would highly recommend him as a guitar teacher.

I hired Mitch as a violin instructor and he does a fantastic job! He's incredibly patient and very encouraging! His lessons are well paced and he is very thorough with teaching you proper form and technique. I would definitely recommend him to others.
