FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Well I'm not sure if there is a Karaoke college...lol. Yes I do spend time at the music store learning about whats new in sound equipment and how it could improve the quality of sound I can offer my customers. It may sound weird but sometimes having the latest thing out there isn't always the best for quality sound. Just because it has more lights and features doesn't necessarily mean you can apply it in an ever changing environment such as Karaoke sound mixing.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Most of the job's I've done since I got out on my own have been at Bars or Lounges doing Karaoke. I also do privet parties, weddings, and have helped people with there microphone technique (how to get the most out of the microphone) and helpful tips on there singing. Simply said I just love mixing great sounding music and hearing that next incredible voice that knocks me off my feet.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Some of the best advice I can offer anyone looking for Karaoke w/ K.J. is to have phone contact. Interview more than one service provider before you hire someone so you get exactly what your looking for everyone offers something different. Ask questions about the equipment (song lists, microphones, speakers, etc...) that they intend to use at your event and all services they provide. Make sure your getting the best deal for the money your paying out. If your throwing a general party or wedding party ask if they offer a singer / K.J. for your event sometimes having an experienced singer can help break the ice when no one is willing to go first. last but not least just because they cost more doesn't always mean they are the best at what they do make sure they not only have quality equipment but know how to run it.
