With over 20 years of experience in the pet care field, I have clients in busy cities to the rural countryside. I am highly intuitive when it comes to animals. I make it my mission to learn as much as possible about new and old animal care with research, reading, and continuing education courses. I fully invest in their care. Your pets are my pets, so I will go above and beyond to make sure they are happy and healthy! Valuing communication with clients, you will be informed of any mental or physical changes that present themselves. I am always available to answer questions or address comments. I am a double-certified veterinary assistant with a solid knowledge of animal triage to help clients determine if their pets need medical attention. In an emergency, I do not hesitate to get them the proper care they need immediately keeping you informed through the entire process. I am accepting of all walks of life. I encourage you to tell me anything you or your pets need while they are in my care! I have two dogs of my own. Charlie is a chihuahua mix and Browning is a lab mix. Both are highly socialized and enjoy the company of other pets. They are great dog ambassadors! They will be present for any boarding. However, they are not required to come on walks. Only if you want your pooch to learn to pack up with new friends.

Rachel has been a godsend! Our dog Hank has pretty severe stranger danger / reactivity, so we’d only ever left him with friends until recently. As friends alone stopped working as a dog sitting solution, we started looking for professional support. Enter Rachel. She wasn’t just open to working with Hank (and his sister Lola!), she was eager to win him over. She had clear, well thought out strategies for meeting him and taught us some things that have helped with greetings since. She’s stayed at our place twice now — both times taking such great care of our dogs and home. We are so grateful to have her in our lives!

This review will not convey how wonderful Rachel is but we will try to as best we can. Firstly, Rachel is a professional through and through and runs a great business, she is organized, prompt, professional, courteous and fun to work with and has the willingness to go the extra mile for her clients. But more importantly and beyond that she is a truly caring, warm hearted, understanding person that cares and loves all types of animals which makes her in the top 10% of humans in our book, haha. :) After our first interview and critter meeting, spending some time with her we knew our “fur kids” were in the right hands after our first conversation and her stories of clients, horses, dogs, cats, reptiles and insects. She also understands the obsession we pet owners can have when it comes to wanting the best care possible when we aren’t around. Rachel asked about all their special needs, what they eat, when they eat, are their medications, do they have hiding spots, what toys do they like and she remembered it all….to the letter. At the end of our vacation our cats were like “what, oh your home” when’s the nice lady coming back to play with us twice a day?” :) She text us little visit reports and fun pics which allowed us to have a much needed few days off with friends and family. Thank you Rachel, you are the best and the kitties miss you already :) (Pics are ones Rachel sent when playing)

Rachel is truly our Fairy Dog Mother. Our pup, Max, is a rescue who is unsure around other dogs and can be slow to warm to people. We originally found her as a pet sitter for when we were on vacation and needed a trusted person to leave our dog with. She took extra time to meet our dog multiple times prior to actually watching him and allowed us to have a session in her home with her dogs to make sure he would be comfortable. We recently started having Rachel take our pup on Pack Walks with her dogs, and Max has made HUGE gains in being around other dogs. We are so thankful to have someone who cares about our dog and his well-being, takes extra time and care with him, and helps show him new experiences in ways that he is able to handle. She is professional, prompt, and always in contact. We can’t recommend her enough.

Rachel is great and my dogs love when she visits. I get great pictures and routes when she walks them and they look so happy. She has stayed at the house to dog sit and I feel very comfortable my dogs get the attention they deserve. I Highly recommend Rachel.

Rachel was absolutely amazing for our pets. We have one dog and one cat and she did great with both. Our cat is usually super shy around people and our dog takes a minute to warm up to people usually, but they both took to her immediately. She sent us photos and videos after every visit, which eased my mind a ton because I’m a bit of an anxious pet owner, and she was super flexible with our schedule. Highly recommend her!
