- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For online students, I offer the first 2 lessons for free. I do have standard lesson rates that I charge ($30 per half hour lesson, $40 per 45-minute lesson, and $50 per hour lesson), but for my students, I am willing to negotiate lesson rates! I am also flexible on payments, whether you want to pay for every lesson or for a group of lessons. I'll work with what works best for you!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After we connect on Thumbtack, I try to set up a time for our first lesson. During that lesson, we'll figure out what direction we want to go guitar-wise and music-wise. And then we'll start working that way throughout our lessons.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have played music for over 20 years (in bands and regularly in a church setting) and have a lot of experience helping others learn as well.
