Reverb Lessons and their support staff have been wonderful. I was able to find a great instructor for my son, close to home, very convenient and my son just loves his instructor. I would highly recommend Jennifer for vocal lessons and the service Reverb Lessons provides.
I took lessons from Jeannie for about 10 years. Jeannie is a great piano teacher because she cares about the individual growth of each of her students. Jeannie helps her students work hard to learn new songs and theories while always reminding them the importance of having fun and enjoying piano playing. For me personally, I started lessons at age 8 and I instantly found pure joy with the help of Jeannie. She helped me reach my goals and now I'm a music major in college and I plan to have a career in music. Jeannie can help students of all ages and all levels reach their own goals in piano playing. She is a highly qualified teacher and I definitely would recommend if you are seeking a positive piano-learning experience that will last a lifetime.
I am a music teacher who primarily teaches students how to play the piano. I teach you the style of music that you prefer, and we work from there.
I work with them on their level and make sure they understand what they are working with and give them the fundamentals that will enable them to learn easier in the future and without the help of an instructor. Giving them the ability to learn and think by themselves.
I understand the ins and outs of guitar technique and music theory. I also get to know the student's likes, dislikes, habits and natural tendencies regarding the instrument, music and practicing. I can then design a specific program for each individual.
When I was 7 years old I started piano lessons. After about 6 months of lessons my teacher told my parents that she couldn't teach me anymore. I wasn't learning to read the music. I could play it all, and create my own songs, but she had no ability to teach to my needs. She only knew a traditional way to teach and if I wouldn't learn her way, I was unteachable. Never mind my ability to play what I heard, or pick out a melody, or my sense of timing and rhythm. Years later I taught myself to play songs using chords and rhythm. I was able to teach myself how to listen to a song, play it, and change the key if I needed to as well. I also wrote my own songs. As an adult, I wanted to learn to read music and expand my understanding and abilities. I found a teacher to teach me. When my daughter was 4 1/2 years old, I started teaching her duets and we'd tell fun stories using the piano. I realized what an amazing ear, timing and creativity she had. She wasn't as interested in learning to read the music as to play classical music that was way above her reading level. So I began showing her different classical pieces and eventually pop songs she liked. I also taught her chords and rhythm piano. We were at a party one day when she was 6, and she began playing Fur Elise on the piano that brought not only the children into the room, but all the adults as well. They were amazed at her playing. She told the crowd that I had taught her and one little girl pleaded with her mom to let me teach her. She took my number and that began my teaching career. I have been teaching ever since. Many of my parents have become my students saying “I want to learn how to do that.” I have taught kids and adults ages 5-75, who have become great readers and unbelievable singer/songwriters. My daughter is 20 now, and is still playing and writing her own music. She plays piano for the joy and love of playing and creating. I have met so many adults that took piano as a child, never to play as an adult. The love was never instilled in them. They only remember their parents forcing them to practice. I realize that teaching to the individual is giving that person a chance to build a loving relationship with the piano and singing, in their own time. My desire is to teach students to be responsible for their own progress, and to help them grow confidence in their own abilities to play piano and sing, and create their own amazing music. This is how my teaching stands out.

Matthew Edewaard now offers music lessons. Matthew William Edewaard (born April 13, 1990), known by his mononym Edewaard, is an independent American singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, touring artist, and producer. He has written, performed, recorded, and published 6 albums; 4 of which Edewaard produced himself. Edewaard's music is often noted as being reflective of classic rock/pop and new wave, carrying influences reminiscent of artists from the late '70s and early '80s. The albums are typically riddled with short, punchy, melodic tracks focused heavily on the lyricism. Edewaard is also a songwriter and producer for the New York based, nonprofit organization, Songs of Love; dedicated to providing personalized songs for children and teens facing tough medical, physical, or emotional challenges. Edewaard continues to tour and recruit talented young musicians for his live band. You can find Edewaard's music on Pandora, iTunes, Spotify, and Rhapsody. Testimonials: "Edewaard has a sound that is both all their own, yet eerily familiar." -Convozine "Smooth, melodic, & laid back sound that I just eat up." -Skope Magazine If I had to describe this band's sound with just one word, it would be 'rich'. The songs straddle the line between rock & pop, but it's the textures that really grab the attention; you don't so much listen to these songs as you find yourself surrounded by them." - Incognito Magazine
