I just started seeing Lisa and she's fantastic. So warm and kind. I've been suffering from a chronic illness which has left me unable to exercise for nearly a decade now. But she's starting at square one with me, stretching and light yoga, increasing flexibility, with a walking regimen and menu plan I can actually accomplish. Cannot recommend highly enough, I'm actually feeling my body again!
I met Jae at a 24 hr Fitness Club where I was inquiring about personal training to re-frame health and weight loss goals. Jae spoke to me with focused empathy, patience and a level of respect deeper than I have ever found in the yoga or fitness industry. He took little time in acquiring a great deal of detail about what could make me happy- details he uses to create a fitness plan with the utmost care and wisdom. Jae is intelligent and well-versed in how to look amazing physically but he chooses spiritually-based creativity to make you whole again. I have trained with experts all over the United States but Jae is the only professional with whom I trust completely as both Mentor and Trainer.
I've been getting massage from Jonathan for almost two years now. When I met him I had been working with another massage therapist for over 15 years, but after talking with Jonathan at a social event, I decided to give his services a try. He has a fantastic approach to bodywork and is relentless about helping me work yoga and deep breathe into my daily life so that I can heal my body faster and build more strength and flexibility. I also really appreciate that Jonathan offers mobile massage, which makes it really convenient. He is a very skilled massage therapist and yoga instructor and I would highly recommend his services
I am new to Yoga; I have never practiced Yoga, and did not understand its profound impact. With a leap of faith I jumped into a daily practice with a Yoga studio in Cambridge MA, and with Alissa at my work. Alissaâs teaching style is a breath of fresh air, it is nurturing, encouraging, light hearted, technically knowledgeable, creative, and spiritual; this from my short experience is not always the case. When struggling she would help, when flowing she offered up encouragement, Alissa was in tuned to the class. I looked forward to every single class with great anticipation and joy. I am quite sad to see her go, my life and practice will be a little less rich. The people in Portland are gaining a great teacher and person, I wish her well.
Kaitlin is an amazing reiki healer. I would recommend her to anyone. What a beautiful soul. I will not ever go to anyone else for my reiki. I knew the instant we talked via email she was the person for me. I cannot put into words how amazing she is. I am blessed to have found her.
taken a number of yoga classes from Mary and she does an excellent job. Great at talking participants through the moves as well as breathing techniques. Able to assess the level of skill in the participants. Very gentle manner about her and high level of experience. I would not hesitate to recommend her as an instructor.
Dawn gives me private yoga instruction and I have enjoyed each session. She is upbeat, patient and always client- focused. I highly recommend her.
I had a great experience with Hailey as my yoga instructor. She was very professional and did an excellent job explaining the different moves/how to do them. The whole set had a very nice flow, it was easy to follow which was nice because it allowed me to focus and not get distracted.
Really fun integrated class with good transitions and guidance. Good for beginners to advanced!
Janis Desmond is an excellent Yoga Teacher and Yoga Therapist. But even more, she is a caring and loving person. I recently finished a Series of 4 Yoga Therapy Sessions with Janis. I had taken a bad fall on the street and was in pain. After the first Yoga Therapy session, I felt as though I had never experienced what it means to have an OPEN spine until then. After all 4 sessions, I am hardly in pain at all, and still feel quite OPEN and blissful! Thank you, Janis!
Yoga helped me discover who I really am and my classes encourage students through that same peace loving journey. My classes are joyous and transformative; founded in present moment awareness, proper alignment and drenched in yogic philosophy and mythology I live opportunities where I can inspire and motivate students to know their awesome full potential both physically and mentally.

I have such a strong passion for what I do. I started buti yoga as a student and it changed my life so drastically both mentally and physically. I chose to get certified so I could share these amazing feelings and results with other women. Connecting with other women on a more personal level. Discovering their hidden passions and giving them the tools and strength to become the women they want to be, not what society wants us to be. Bringing out confidence that you didn't know existed.
I believe deeply in the healing aspects of yoga, and it is my love of the practice and opportunity for healing I wish to bring to you. Yoga has the potential for a very transformative experience in your life, mind, body and soul literally. My formal training is in hatha yoga from top schools in India and Thailand. I would love to work with you!

For many years, I have sought out ways to increase my understanding of preventative health practices and to implement them into my life and the life of others I come in contact with. I became a yoga instructor, an energy practitioner (Reiki), a health coach, a breath worker, a massage therapist, a certified reflexologist and a cupping practioner. I love each one of these practices and enjoy incorporating all modalities within each individual session.

I have a variety of settings from which to be involved in your wellness, including mental health counseling at the Portland DBT Institute, private or studio yoga classes, and help in utilizing essential oils for health and healing. I do this work because I feel it is my calling. I have had an array of rich experiences with clients to facilitate my knowledge and only practice and share modalities that are evidence based and meaningful to me.
I am person of servitude. I thrive off of helping others, and I have a strong intuition to find solutions and a pathway to navigate the world. With my life experience, and my social science education, it is my goal to reach others through a compassionate conversation combined with a safe yoga practice that is suitable for most bodies. Yoga has been in my life as a personal practice for the past decade, and recently I felt the calling to teach the practice to others. I know that it is a practice that heals, and will aid in my goal of helping others along their pathway. I am choosing to meet students and clients at their home as a safe space, and be more personal and individualized to create the greatest impact.
