Jeff did just what I expect of a contractor. He solved my problem and finished the job to completion. I had a glass shower door that was leaking. He did not simply attempt a solution and leave it at that. He identified the problems -- a mis-aligned shower door and a missing sweep. He took the time to properly align the shower door by removing it, replacing it, and professionally re-caulking. He also identified the proper part needed for the glass shower door sweep by contacting numerous glass companies. The part wasn't available for a few weeks, so he put in place the best possible temporary fix, and then returned, free of charge, to install the correct part. The shower door no longer leaks. The space looks great. He cleaned up nicely. Jeff is also a very nice guy who takes the time to get to know his clients. I have already recommended him to my neighbor for a large project.
Troy Beiling has done handyman jobs for us for the past 8 years. He has done painting, woodwork repair, along with miscellaneous projects. He is dependable, neat, ethical, honest, does quality work and his is very cognizant of respecting your home while he is working. We would recommend him highly. Mary Beth and Jim Bos MBJ Group, Inc.
We are very thankful that we found Tim Napper and Cory of 3:16 contracting. We were self contracting and had initially hired 3:16 to do drywall. But, they came to the rescue when we had problems with our framing contractor. After a meeting with the city inspector, we hired 3:16 to fix and complete the framing. Tim and Cory helped turn our dream addition from a nightmare back to a dream. They did a great job and have restored our faith and trust that there are good people in contracting! Now we have and will continue to use 3:16 for our contracting needs. Thank you 3:16 contracting!!! Jenny and Liz
Jim and his crew painted both the inside and outside of our two story home. They also cleaned up a few mistakes left by other contractors. All of the work was done in a timely and very efficient manner. Results were great.
Greg did an outstanding job of removing dry rot and re-framing a bayed window, not an easy task. He is professional, does a thorough job, keeps the work site clean, and I felt completely comfortable with him working in my home. He stuck to his bid and did what it took to get the job done. I'll be hiring him to do more work for me.
Hired Brush of Color to put new siding on our house. Randall responded to our request within hours of posting. I had already purchased all of the materials so they just charged me for labor. For a licensed contractor, he charges a very reasonable hourly rate. I could not be more happy with his work. The end result looks fantastic. He did a great job of managing his time. I was not home during the days he worked, but the neighbors commented to me how hard he and his partner worked all day long while on the job. I highly recommend this contractor.
Scott and his apprentice installed custom-built book cabinets in our living room and did a fantastic job. He is very detail-oriented, punctual and wants his work to be of the highest quality. He gave us a fair price on the installation, and he quickly fit our project into his busy schedule. Overall, we are very pleased with Scott's work and will call him first when we again need a general contractor. Highly recommended!
I hired Alan for removal and installation of a home dishwasher. Alan arrived on time and was friendly and courteous throughout the job. Alan took the time to make sure the new dishwasher was properly leveled and flush with the installation space. He got the job done in a reasonable amount of time and everything looks good. I'd hire him again.
After having DREYCO paint the interior of my home, I also hired them to do the exterior. The quality of work and amount of professionalism was outstanding. I will continue to recommend them to anyone I know, as well as hire them for any future painting needs.
After attempting to work with multiple (disappointing) contractors, I somehow stumbled upon Thumbtack and was matched with Brian for a project. My husband and I were trying to get new flooring put in and remove a closet before we moved into our new home, as well as multiple other projects to be done later, such as refinishing our deck and bringing it up to code, fixing some posts under the house, redoing bathrooms, and some kitchen cabinet work. Brian responded to my project proposal on Thumbtack almost immediately. Literally one or two minutes after it had posted, he sent me a message. We spoke on the phone and he was very professional and polite. He agreed to go take a look at our house right away and send us a bid. When Brian says he will contact you, he does. He often gets written estimates to us the same day we discuss a project. If you aren’t home, he will send you picture updates on his work. He is professional, friendly, and is very reasonably priced. It’s a pleasure to have him working for us and we couldn’t be happier that we hired him. A list of things Brian has done for us: *Removed old carpet, Installed Pergo laminate throughout house *Kitchen cabinet modifications to fit new appliances *Removed closet, put up drywall and finished/painted *Replaced drywall, framing, insulation, siding, trim, etc., in a wall that was wet and ruined from a leak in the roof *Refinished deck, bringing it up to code, adding a gate; replacing stairs in yard *Is currently remodeling our bathroom *Will soon repair the post and beams under the house I would highly recommend Brian for any work you are thinking of having done. It’s a pleasure to have him around and his work is top notch!
Denis and his crew did a great job tearing down the existing fence and building a new one. He answered all my questions; told me each day what would be done. They were pleasant to work with and I will be using them again.
Total kitchen remodel and floor tiled. I had never hired a contractor before and had no idea of what was involved. Anthony led me through the process and calmed my anxieties. He and his crew were very professional, accomplished and courteous. Anthony had a good relationship with his subcontractors and all phases of the job were done in a timely manner. Anthony also made sure everything was done to code and to his high standards. I am extremely satisfied with my finished kitchen and new tile floor.
Provided prompt and courteous service. Explanations regarding needed repairs were clear. Needed to order additional parts and made arrangements to come back at a time that works well with my schedule.
I had the very good fortune of meeting/hiring Rick and Anita as they launched their business. I had a punch list a mile long starting with rebuilding two outdoor staircases and adding handrails, remodeling two bathrooms, replacing baseboards, and adding two mantles. No other contractor I requested estimates from were interested in completing the entire list but fortunately they did! Anita is an experienced business manager and Rick is a highly skilled woodworker (who should be making high end furniture!). Together they form a reliable, hard-working, honest, respectful, and conscientious team. I would hire them again in a second and I highly recommend them.
Adam did an excellent job on my fence. I would definitely recommend him and will use him on more projects.
Thanks to Greg and his crew, Scott & Tom, when this batty PNW weather permits, we've been enjoying our bucolic back yard atop a fantastic deck for just about a year. The previous owners left behind a deathtrap excuse of a porch, so when as a 1st time home owner never having contracted work before I began the search, was rather overwhelmed. Greg was the *only* one to answer my 'thumbtack' inquiry and despite the distance from town, traveled out to assess and bid on the admittedly modest project. I can really thank his Second, Scott, for moving it forward, as it was on his insistence that what I envisaged could come in on budget with some tweaks. Working quickly and efficiently, this glorious addition was ready in a matter of days. Clearly the group compliments one another and gets down to business producing grand construction. However, there was some confusion as to the final product due to a rather ambiguous contract and miscommunication. I think G took a hit in making it right: no doubt his pride of workmanship could not allow for a cheap and tacky remedy to the issue. Guests both new and old were wowed by such a dramatic (and safe!) change to the backside of the home. And with good reason, we couldn't be happier with what they built and would recommend such talents.
