Introduction: As an ordained Orthodox Catholic priest, I take my job seriously; however, not so seriously as to drag others into it. While the Orthodox church has one way to do things, as a leader in the "American Orthodox Movement", I tend to do things differently.
I enjoy the involvement in a wedding ceremony, the pure emotion and sensitivity of it, and I enjoy the challenges presented by each individual couple and what they precisely wish for.
Whether humorous weddings, traditional weddings, simple or ornate, gay/straight, it doesn't matter to me. I love being part of the new day for a new couple.
