I took violin lessons from Mirabai for about three months. I am an adult, and I had very little violin training prior. Always punctual and very professional, she possesses not only immense musical talent but also a keen teaching aptitude. She took a rigorous teaching approach while also accommodating the student's personal musical preferences. Classes with her were well above my expectation, and I would like to resume some time in the future.

Chris, my instructor for violin lessons, is great! It is clear he typically works with children, but is personable and, as an adult, has escalated the learning process to save time. I fully intend to continue getting lessons through Chris, and the owner (Brian I believe), was very responsive to emails.

When we arrived for the initial consultation for singing lessons and my daughter saw the piano, she asked if she could take piano lessons first. So, we're now taking piano lessons from Bonnie. I find her to work very well with kids, my daughter is 8, and my daughter likes her and is happy too. She explains things clearly, gives praise when earned, and is helpful and pleasant to work with.

Grace is an outstanding music teacher. My daughter was so excited to try Violin, and Grace was the perfect teacher for her. Grace was extra patient with my daughter, who is blind in one eye, and went out of her way to make my daughter feel comfortable and empowered her to believe she could play violin. She adjusted her lessons accordingly and found perfect ways to communicate complex music and violin lessons to a 7 year old. I highly recommend Grace to anyone looking to expand their musical talents. She is a very talented musician, super smart and an wonderful teacher.

Mr K is experienced and extremely knowledgeable in piano instruction. He brings an emphasis to technique for early learners, including scales and chords that builds a thorough knowledge base for students. As a former piano teacher, I have greatly valued having Mr K instruct my daughters. They have become proficient very quickly and love the piano!

Denice is a genius at teaching children from her many years of experience. My children are not only learning violin, they are learning valuable life lessons from her. I also take lessons from her and her ability to put into words exactly what I need to do to learn the step I'm working on is magical. All children and adults who want to learn violin should have the privilege of being taught by Denice.

I took cello lessons with Elisa for a few years and played in a group of student, stringed musicians led by her for a few more. She is very good at what she does. She is also very kind. Her lessons are affordable (especially important for a broke college student like me), and her schedule flexible for the most part.

Jeremy is a fantastic instructor. I took piano lessons from him with an emphasis on music theory. He expertly calibrated the lessons to my level of experience with both and as well as my learning speed. He has an easygoing and encouraging presence, and explains concepts in several different ways, making them easier to understand and remember. I had a lot of fun. Thanks, Jeremy!

My five-year-old eagerly waits for her lesson time so she can see Johana and find out what she gets to learn that day. Johana keeps the music learning fun with lots of hands-on music games. She gets down on the floor with my five-year-old to play these games and she handles my daughter's wiggles wonderfully. In a matter of a few months my daughter can already read the notes on the staff and play several songs. I'm so glad to have found a teacher like Johana to make learning the piano a positive experience for my daughter and would highly recommend her to others!

I had always wanted to learn violin, but at nearly 60 years old I was told by different people I was too old. But Jenny gave me the confidence to learn, and I was able to actually learn a lot, for being a person who had to start from scratch, I didn't know music notes or anything, she is patient, she genuinely cares about teaching and has a passion for helping any age person learn to play the violin.

I was lucky to take violin lessons with Terry. It was clear to me that he knows the instrument well and has the patience to explain it. I especially recommend him to people who want to learn the violin and are willing to show determination and commitment in their study.

Ryan gives drum lessons to my 10 year old son, Josh. Josh has a blast! Ryan is technically a great drummer and instructor, but still connects with Josh like no other instructor has. I highly recommend Ryan.

We have a track record of success with our students! We can make students love taking music lessons. Practice is fun, and so are the lessons. We have many students who have been with us for an extended period of time, and we really consider the lesson relationship to be a long term commitment!

About

My teaching stands out because I focus not only on teaching the violin, but teaching the student as a whole person. It is my goal for my students to figure out how they learn and to work with their strengths while they learn their instrument. Students learn excellent technique, sound production, and musicality while gaining confidence along the way!
