Tammy was a wonderful addition to the team of caregivers providing support to my father; he was recently diagnosed with stage 4 primary liver cancer and was estimated with 2-4 weeks to live. Since we’ve moved him to hospice, he’s lost strength and become very foggy. Tammy rearrranged her scheduled when we expressed fear that he may not be alive three days from now, showed up to the hospice on time, and my father - in the middle of the session and for the first time in days - opened his eyes wide and introduce himself to her. We will undoubtedly bring her back into our care circle, and can’t express our gratitude for her work enough.
As a personal trainer for 15 years, my career has allowed me the fortitude to meet and work with 100's of trainers. When I met Scott, I knew that he possessed the ability to become a quality trainer, because his integrity was top notch. Not only is Scott eager to help others by sharing his passion and knowledge for fitness, but he is genuinely a great guy who can wear multiple "hats" - he is a motivator, he is caring, and he is professional. Scott will help educate you and keep you accountable.
Jon is a tremendous coach and motivator! One of the most powerful and impractical speakers I’ve ever heard. I highly recommend Jon for anyone looking for a coach/mentor/speaker!
Working with Freedom has really opened up my body and relaxed my mind. She helps me focus on building strength and flexibility in areas that have constantly caused me pain due to being cramped up in a car all day for my career as a sales rep. It's a great workout and has reduced my stress tremendously!
"His personality, integrity, humor, and appreciation for others make him an excellent listener and leader. His open- mindedness and capacity to care about others make him a great coach. He is positive, focused, and has the ability to ask just the right questions to allow the client to realize their dreams and reach the goals to get there. I highly recommend David Merino as a personal coach."
Because of the advice Ann has given me, I am in the top 12% of my field. When I follow her advice I am successful at every turn. With her having the experience to back up her advice, I know her advice is tried & true. She has been a career saver/maker! Thank you Ann for all you have helped me with. I wouldn't be where I am without your advice!
I decided to try hypnosis for weight loss at the recommendation of a friend. I was just so tired of trying and failing all the diets and feeling worse and worse about myself. From the first phone call Dale made me feel comfortable and at ease talking about my problems and fears. His sessions were really enlightening. I thought my weight problem was just about bad food choices but he helped me realize it was really emotional. I lost about 50 lbs and more importantly my stress and anxiety got so much better! I had no idea those things were even connected. Now I feel in control of my health and emotions and I feel good in my body. Dale is so professional and explained how everything worked so I could understand. He was also really kind and never made me feel judged. He was easy to work with and I felt right away that he could really understand and could really help me. I highly recommend Dale to anyone whose dealing with weight issues and stress/anxiety.
Judith Auslander is a peer and dear friend of mine. I've had the opportunity to observe her in action and I've experienced her coaching and compassion personally. I have no compunction in recommending her as a very well qualified coach.
Mike offered his coaching when I was going through a very challenging time in my life. Divorce. My life was entering new territory, I was a mess, and relations with my kids were not easy. Mike offered advice and thoughts that hit at many levels. From what good growth could come out of the mire to practical advice for being available to my kids. Mike did not sugar-coat things. He has a depth of experience and core of compassion that combine to make him an exceptional life or spiritual coach.

With twenty years of experience, I pay a lot of attention to non-verbal as well as verbal communication. This is especially useful in relationship counseling. Non-verbal communication can show sides of ourselves which we may not be aware of but others notice. The good news is that noticing a new side to oneself can lead to welcome change. New sides to oneself can lead the way into change that comes naturally. I notice the difference between change that comes naturally and change that comes with strain. The strain usually isn't sustainable, change that fits ones nature is. I've taught conflict facilitation in Portland State University's graduate facilitation program. I've spent many years developing attitudes and skills which allow us to work through inner and outer conflict.

My work as a Life Coach stands out because I've lived a lot of what it is I'm coaching around with my clients. I've struggled with my own relationship to food and positive self-image; I have an MFA in theater and understand the pull of performing arts vs. a more "regular" life; I believe in showing up as a Life Coach as a "real person" and not a slick professional who believes she knows more than the client. I believe the client always knows more than me--I am there to learn and reflect the fact that my clients are, already, "talented, resourceful and whole."
I make you the main focus of the sessions. There isn't a whole bunch of teaching going on, and I don't claim to be a guru. In fact, I don't really need to be. What you need in a coach is someone who is willing to listen and focus on who you are, and how you can be what you want to be in a way that makes sense to you.
Conceive, believe, and achieve, for nothing is impossible with God! All things are possible for those who trust in Him. - Luke 1:37, Mark 9:23, 3 John:2 Our goal is to empower those individuals that are ready, and willing to make positive changes in their lives. It is our belief that God created us to have dominion over our lives. This means to be able to overcome any situation that may face us, because we have the God-given ability to do so.
