Prior to Joseph and Julieanne I had never danced. At 55 years old learning to dance was a daunting task. Their classes are fun. The no pressure atmosphere allow those of us with two left feet to learn dancing. I can now dance a number of different styles and my favorite time of each week is dance lessons.

The movement training and coaching available through DanceMode is life-changing. Dance is about so much more than learning steps and Brenda and her staff make the world of movement accessible to every-body. I learned invaluable lessons about my body, my health and my life from working with Brenda in group and private lessons. If there were more stars, I would click them!!

I was so lucky to have Matthew as my dance instructor. He was very kind, patient and most of all, an absolute blast to dance with. He always made each dance lesson really fun and productive. I would learn from him again and would recommend him to anyone who wants to learn dancing and have a good time doing it!

    About

I have been teaching ballroom/Latin dancing for over 15 years. I specialize in working with couples mostly because I can travel to their homes and teach them in their comfort zone. I do teach group classes, but that is rare because finding/renting a dance floor is somewhat complicated.

How much do dance lessons cost?

Adults who want to learn to dance, whether to prepare for a wedding or to meet new people, often enjoy taking dance lessons from an experienced dance instructor. Instructors may offer classes one-on-one to individual students or couples, or to small groups. The national average cost for a dance instructor ranges from $30 to $50. Some studios offer a discounted introductory lessons or group lessons, as well as package deals that are more affordable than paying for individual lessons.
