FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Sign up for your FREE initial trial lesson. This 30 minute lesson is a way for us to meet, learn about your musical interests and background and help you make sure Alberta Street Music School is the right choice for you - no obligations or payment required! Other lesson offerings can be found on my Alberta Street Music School website.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Lessons begin with tuning our instruments followed by a warm up, usually reviewing what you have been practicing since our last lesson. We will examine any challenges or questions you are having and explore further. The last few minutes of each lesson are spent discussing a personalized practice plan for the following week. If you came to the studio with a parent, they’re welcome to wait in the parent & family lounge. Virtual lessons can be recorded for your convenience.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I received my Bachelors of Music degree from Columbia College Chicago in 2010. I've been teaching music professionally for over 15 years. As for performance, I have been playing professionally since 2008 including international touring, studio recording, Off-Broadway pit-orchestra gigs, jazz, reggae, fusion, funk, country, folk, blues, pop, rock, electronic, hip-hop and just about anything else you can think of.
