Introduction: Shoehorn plays sax and tap dances, and also plays a number of woodwind and percussion instruments, plus piano and vocals. I am a longtime performer but I enjoy teaching immensely. I feel I have my own methods that work where traditional instruction may hit a roadblock, and I am very lenient and patient with the student's pace and attention levels. I actually enjoy digressions and demonstrating how the lessons relate between various instruments and styles.
