I trained with Alberto for about a year before I moved to a different state. I enjoyed working with him because even though the workouts were challenging they were always fun and different. Alberto had a great attitude, always positive, completely focused, and very knowledgeable. I learned that my training wasnt just in the gym and what I learned from him could also be applied to the rest of my life. He never accepted excuses but was flexible enough to adjust his programs to fit my forever changing goals. He was always willing to answer questions and was able to work with me and make it work for my schedule. So not only does he train you to be a better athlete and healthier he pushes you to be a more rounded person.
Krav Maga Portland is absolutely amazing! I first discovered Krav in 2010 and have been hooked ever since. I joined with the goal to lose weight and to get into better shape in general. Not only has that happened, I've also learned a great deal about self defense and feel much more confident in my ability to defend myself and my loved ones. Our family has driven 20 miles, twice a week, for over eight years, to study and practice kajukenbo karate under the kind and compassionate guidance of Situ Rick Cropper.
