Introduction: Im changing the music world by guiding guitarists to reach the highest levels of musicianship. I have a vision of a world of highly skilled guitarists who can excel in any musical situation they encounter, are equipped with the skills to play the music they want to play, and will go on share this movement of guitar excellence with the next generation of guitarists. I love learning about learning. I love seeing the spark of understanding when a new concept rings true with my guitar and bass students. I love that feeling when it happens to me, too. Everyday I strive to learn more about teaching. I am rewarded when I find new ways to get results with my guitar and bass students. Most of all, I love inspiring people to find the talent they never knew they had before.

Found Neil and the Montavilla Guitar Studio through a neighborhood Facebook page. He has been giving our 8 year old daughter private guitar lessons for 3 months now, with great patience and so many fun, innovative teaching techniques! His studio/teaching space is cozy and welcoming, he clearly enjoys teaching lessons, and has a natural knack for working with children (which is no small feat). We have been incredibly pleased with the caliber of teacher we've found in Neil. (If you are just beginning lessons - he also offers a complimentary "find a guitar" session where he meets you at a local guitar shop to pick an instrument that'll work well. Great way get a newbie musician excited about what's to come!)

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer lessons in twelve-packs. Most of my clients choose to pay in full because it is the best value. I do offer monthly payment plans if requested but it costs a little more. I require a three-month commitment from any new client. The reason is because I know the student will get results if we work together for three-months. Results come fast in my program, but only to those who make that three-month commitment. I also offer to refund any full months of lessons if you or I decide to stop, but none have requested this to-date.
