Nikki C. says, "Mr. Angelo is a highly talented music teacher who plays multiple instruments, including drums, guitar, and piano. He has been the perfect teacher for our son for over three years. He is attentive, patient, and truly knows how to engage his students. Our son began lessons on a three-string guitar, progressed to five strings, and now also practices on a drum pad. During each lesson, Mr. Angelo takes the time to answer questions and provides helpful homework to practice between sessions. When our son becomes distracted, he knows how to refocus him and clearly explains the “why” behind each exercise. Since starting lessons, our son’s confidence has grown tremendously. He has learned how to read music, which has benefited him at school—first with the recorder and now with the saxophone as a member of the school band. He does a great job balancing teaching the basics and techniques while also making time to work on what you want to learn and play. I've improved a lot with his lessons, way more than I would have on my own. I would recommend him if you are looking to learn or improve your skills, especially if you are a beginner, because he can guide you and correct your technique so you don't form bad habits early on.
