He is attentive, patient, and truly knows how to engage his students. Our son began lessons on a three-string guitar, progressed to five strings, and now also practices on a drum pad. During each lesson, Mr. Angelo takes the time to answer questions and provides helpful homework to practice between sessions. When our son becomes distracted, he knows how to refocus him and clearly explains the “why” behind each exercise. Since starting lessons, our son’s confidence has grown tremendously. He has learned how to read music, which has benefited him at school—first with the recorder and now with the saxophone as a member of the school band.
