Josh A. says, "I started taking lessons with Todd in January and I'm genuinely glad I found him. I've played guitar for a while, but the fretboard always felt like this mysterious thing I couldn't quite decode. I'd get by on feel and muscle memory, but theory terminology just didn't stick. A few months in with Todd and it's finally clicking. Like, actually clicking. What makes him a great teacher isn't just that he knows his stuff, it's that he's patient enough to meet you where you are and smart enough to push you just past your comfort zone. He doesn't have a one-size-fits-all curriculum he's running through. He pays attention to what you're trying to accomplish and shapes the lessons around that. If you're an adult learner who's felt stuck or intimidated by the theoretical side of guitar, Todd's the kind of teacher who makes it feel approachable without dumbing it down. I'm leaving every lesson with something I can actually use, and more importantly, something that makes sense. Highly recommend!"See more

Nikki C. says, "Mr. Angelo is a highly talented music teacher who plays multiple instruments, including drums, guitar, and piano. He has been the perfect teacher for our son for over three years. He is attentive, patient, and truly knows how to engage his students. Our son began lessons on a three-string guitar, progressed to five strings, and now also practices on a drum pad. During each lesson, Mr. Angelo takes the time to answer questions and provides helpful homework to practice between sessions. When our son becomes distracted, he knows how to refocus him and clearly explains the “why” behind each exercise. Since starting lessons, our son’s confidence has grown tremendously. He has learned how to read music, which has benefited him at school—first with the recorder and now with the saxophone as a member of the school band. Mr. Angelo has been a true blessing to our family, and it’s only a matter of time before our younger son begins lessons as well. We've recommended him to other parents, who have also chosen him as their child's music teacher."See more

Gurleen K. says, "Scotty is singlehandedly the best guitar teacher I have ever hired, and this statement comes from someone who has been taking guitar lessons since 2011. What sets Scotty apart is his remarkable ability to listen attentively while simultaneously pushing me to surpass my limited knowledge of the guitar. Instead of relying on rote memorization, he instills in me a deep understanding of the instrument. One of the things I appreciate most about Scotty is his knack for tailoring our lessons to suit my individual needs and aspirations. This personal touch truly sets apart Scotty's teaching style and ensures a unique experience for each student. Furthermore, Scotty is incredibly accommodating when it comes to scheduling. He understands that life can be unpredictable, and if I ever need to cancel a lesson, within the 24-window notice, he is understanding and flexible. Additionally, he goes the extra mile by sending me detailed notes after each session, allowing me to practice effectively and make progress between lessons. Scotty's supportive nature creates an environment where I feel comfortable enough to sing and explore my creative side. Above all, Scotty's genuine passion for the guitar shines through in every interaction. I consider myself incredibly fortunate and honored to be his student. Thank you, Scotty, for your dedication and expertise. I eagerly look forward to our upcoming lesson on Wednesday!"See more

Anna L. says, "I've been taking lessons with Ian for over 7 years now. We started in person on ukulele. A year in, Covid came along and we shifted to virtual. I figured I would miss the in person lessons but virtual has been amazing and now I know they can be great if done well- which he does. And it's also nice to not have to leave the house! We have a shared Dropbox folder. He sends files to see and read and even recordings to practice along with in between lessons. Also, a couple years ago, I wanted to shift to guitar and so we did and it was seamless. He took much of what I learned on ukulele and used it to help me understand the guitar better. I still take lessons with Ian to this day and I couldn't recommend him more!"See more
