I have to say to myself, Why haven't I done this sooner. On Friday night we had a ladies night, 5, and Tony prepared 5-6 dishes and each one was amazing, delicious. He prepares well by asking all the right questions regarding the group he is preparing for and then executes it exquisitely!! I can't wait to plan my next event with Tony and I will also be doing some cooking classes with him. Tony from all of us ladies on Fri May 29th we thank you so such a wonderful special evening.

Francis was great. He offered excellent menu choices and even worked with us to have extra side dishes our kids would like while still participating in the 'big meal'. He took care of everything from start to finish including serving us on our deck. We would recommend him to anyone and hope to have him create another meal for a future special occasion.

Donna came prepared and spent three hours patiently showing my friend and I proper knife/cutting techniques. She was very knowledgeable on the proper care of knives, the different kinds (the must-haves) and how they should be sharpened/maintained. I learned a lot and had a lot of fun. I also ended the night a large/delicious dish of tabbouleh to enjoy over the next few days. I would highly recommend Donna to anyone who is looking for a personal cooking lesson/demonstration.

I took Dorina’s Functional Home Cooking Course through the local adult school last fall. I have continued to take weekly classes since then. Dorina’s emphasis is on cooking quick, nutritious meals using wholesome ingredients. Her forte is Italian cooking but she has a broad knowledge of foods and other styles of cooking. Her classes are well organized. Topics touched on during class include the choice of ingredients, possible variations and substitutions, nutrition, tricks of the trade, and tips on where to shop. Dorina is friendly and engaging and her classes are informative and enjoyable. Her class is the perfect starting point for someone with little experience in cooking who wants to learn the basics. Her class would also be valuable for a person with some experience in the kitchen who wants to broaden their perspective.

My Secret Chef has changed my life. As a widow who never cooked and hated the idea of it, Stuart has been helping me not only to cook, but to learn how to eat better and appreciate good food. The food that he makes is amazing, and he has taught me how to replicate many of the dishes! What is even more amazing is that not only is the kitchen spotless when Stuart leaves, but it looks better than when he came in.

If you're looking for an opportunity to learn how to cook a gorgeous and delicious meal all while having fun with good company, Chef Bradley Cooper is the man to hire. For Christmas, I wanted to get my girlfriend a special gift. She has always mentioned how desperately she wants to learn to cook, so I looked around on thumbtack for a suitable hire. In our mid 20s, my girlfriend and I are on a tight budget and weren't sure what to expect when hiring a professional chef to come into our tiny apartment and give us a lesson! Fortunately, Chef Brad showed up and could not have made us feel more comfortable and relaxed despite our lack of cooking necessities and experience. Brad showed up early, brought along a delicious loaf of his home-made bread (on the house), and went on to teach us - step by step - how to prepare an unbelievable seafood meal. Brad has decades of experience in the food industry, owns his own successful restaurant, is incredibly down to Earth, very easy going, and he proved tonight that he can make a meal taste delicious even in the most lackluster environments. I highly, highly recommend his service. This was the greatest gift I could've given my girlfriend, other than a wedding ring :)

Chef Doug has cooked for me on several occasions. He has a wealth of food knowledge and experience. He is timely, tidy, and professional. Pictured below is a salad with pickled strawberries, grilled chicken, dandelion greens, Gorgonzola, strawberry vinegarette. The other is monkfish on rice with a side of sea beans and accented with lemon zest.

Working with Cortney & Elisabeth of Plate Catering could not of been any better! Before my daughter's baby shower they provided me with ample menu suggestions plus samples of their food to taste. Elisabeth arrived at my home early, prepped all the food and had it ready to go when my guests arrived. She continually replenished the platters as they emptied. The food & service received rave reviews from myself and my guests. When it was time for her to leave my kitchen was spotless - she washed all pots ,pan & platters used I the prep of the food! If you want a first class caterer then hire these ladies because they are fabulous!!

I'm a chef who simply loves fresh, farm-to-table cuisines. There's a certain passion that comes with cooking, and I believe I let that passion out through every plate I put out. It's what I love to do, and I love it when it positively impacts those around me.

      About

I am a private chef for all your in-home affairs or just to make that special dinner. I can do anything from backyard barbecue to an elegant romantic dinner for two.

      About

I cook because I love to comfort people, and providing delicious food is a simple, yet universal way to pour your heart out without saying a word! From a young age, I understood how good it felt to have people rave over my boxed cakes (I cook them from scratch now), to be asked by my friends to make my famous pasta dish for their sweet sixteen birthday parities or to have my aunt, a home economics teacher, be impressed over my ability to make the perfect, light and fluffy scrambled egg. I have experience with providing a warm, casual (small to medium) event on almost any budget. I can create something from almost nothing. I specialize in soul food, comfort food and ethnic food, with my own personal flair (yes, I can do healthier variations of almost any dish that I make). I am also a certified bartender and have knowledge of classic drinks, but can create my own recipe with ease. I will cook dinner for you or a romantic dinner for two, brunch for you and your BFFs, create a luau feast in the dead of winter. I will show you that money and timing isn't everything when it comes to entertaining. I will make it easy for you and your budget.
