- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I want to make yoga accessible to anyone... My rate is $60 for our first hour long session and includes a FREE 30 minute consultation on goals and interests in a personal yoga practice. This is also the base price for small groups (first person $60 and up to 5 additional people at $15/person. Groups of 7 or more is a flat $150 total). Regular weekly clients eligible for discounted rate. A travel fee may be assessed if outside the State College area. 10% of my pay is donated to Nittany Beagle Rescue.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Once I understand your goals (free 30 minute consultation by phone or in person), we will do a pre-flow assessment looking at core stability and strength before we venture into bigger movements of yoga flow. We will also use conscious breathing and can explore yoga philosophy if you are interested (I’m also happy to make reading suggestions).
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
BAE Secondary Education, Biology, Aizona State University 200hr Anjali Yoga Teacher Training 500hr Lila Yoga Teacher Training 2 weeks study at the Krishnamacharya Yoga Mandiram in Chennai, India. Working towards another 500hr training in a style created by a Physical Therapist, the LYT Method.
