Bryan and Alexa were fantastic. We created quite a design challenge for them since we have four dogs and wanted to keep some of the items we already had. They accepted the challenge, and the end result was a dog-friendly space that was also warm and welcoming for our guests.

I gave Ashen+Argyle a number of challenges in terms of budget and how hands off I was with the project, but they more than lived up to my expectations of working with a designer. From the first conversation I had with the team, I knew it would be a great working relationship. Alexa and Bryan completely understood my style and blew me away with the boards they put together, and more so with the finished rooms. I absolutely love the rooms they styled and will definitely work with them again.

Working with Ashen + Argyle was such an awesome experience from first consult to final install. They worked within our budget and our timeframe. They have an amazing eye for designing difficult spaces and totally transforming the area. They always kept our interests first while managing all the moving pieces to have a phenomenal final outcome. We cannot wait to work with them again!

Alexa & Bryan are so talented & easy to work with! They listened intently & picked up on my style immediately. The furniture & fixtures they chose for my home are stunning & exactly what I envisioned. They are highly professional & so creative. They designed my kitchen beautifully and gave me options I never would have thought of on my own. I will definitely use them for all future projects in my home!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We charge $150 an hour for our designs, because of our buying power we are often able to save our clients money on the furniture that we purchase for them. All of our billing is transparent, the client knows exactly what they are being charged for at all times.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Initial consultation in the clients home to discuss the scope of the project and see the space. Following this we send a proposal of our services and estimate the total cost of the project. Once the proposal is accepted we begin the designs, a presentation to the client follows. Typically we do two designs per room for the client to choose from.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Alexa and I have been in the industry for 10+ years, we were set designers for QVC in charge of purchasing all of the furniture for the live broadcast. We started our company Ashen+Argyle a year ago and have been doing residential interior design in Philadelphia and the surrounding area since then. It has been a blast and we would love to work with you!
