Job was to act as process server for a summons to appear in NYC Family Court regarding an Order of Protection. Deirdre, through Prestige, not only made the requisite 3 attempts to personally serve the papers, but -- as the defendant could not be located for service at the home PA address -- she personally attempted service on a weekend morning, as well as Christmas Eve Day, and though each attempt found the defendant not home, she spoke with defendant's husband, neighbors, and even workers at the home to see if there were any additional information or leads to an address where the defendant COULD be found.
Prestige's rate for the service was more than reasonable; communication was excellent, both by phone and email; and despite not serving the Summons, Deirdre filled out the Affidavit, made copies of her log of attempts, and mailed the original service package back to me, before she ever even sent me an invoice for the Notary service and return postage -- just so I could have everything back in a timely manner. The very slight invoice followed, more so by my prompting for it than Deirdre's insistence on reimbursement.
I found Deirdre to be personable yet tough, and honorable in keeping her word. Her fees are nominal; her communication and follow-up PHE-nomenal; and should I have to pursue service in PA any further after my return date in NYC Family Court, I know who I will hire to get the job done!
