I'm happy I decided to start taking guitar lessons. The teacher is friendly, very knowledgeable, and patient. I feel like I've learned a lot and I look forward to learning more. Lessons are reasonably priced and I feel like I'm getting my money's worth.
I knew nothing about drums or reading music. Chris simplified it mor me and made it easy to understand
Devin was recommended to me by a friend when I was looking to start taking drum lessons. I was an absolute novice, having never even touched a drum stick before, so he had his work cut out for him to say the least. Devin was incredibly accommodating and patient, and was able to provide the perfect amount of direction without going over my head. I never felt out of my depth, although I surely was, which is a credit to his teaching style and capabilities. I would highly recommend him.
When we work on Samba and Jazz rhythms, Gordon makes things very clear and explains them well. I've been his student for almost three years and I feel like I have improved drastically. He makes learning fun and enjoyable.
My son who is 12 now has been taking guitar lessons with Roger now for 3 years. He has made great progress in this time. Roger goes over and above to customize the lesson to the student. He centers the lesson around a song that interests the student and by the end of the lesson the student is recording the song with accompaniment by base and drums. This keeps the kids interested and gives the family a take-home CD to enjoy. We would highly recommend Roger if you are looking for lessons.
My son has been taking both guitar and drum lessons for six years every week at N Stuff. I can't tell you how professional, kind and talented the entire staff is. Every week we get to walk into a place that feels more like CHEERS, where everyone knows your name. It gives my son a ton of confidence and he has never wanted to quit because of the positive attitude he gets from everyone. From helpful knowledge when buying a piece of equipment to help when something needs to be fixed, hands down, this has been such a wonderful experience all around.
My son has been going to Pat DiIanni for several years for private drum and percussion lessons. The tremendous development and growth that Gage has demonstrated under Pat's direction is incredible. As a West Allegheny Concert and Marching Band Member, the private instruction and Pat's dedication to my son's development have afforded him opportunities he may not have otherwise had the skillset to accomplish. We are grateful for the care, commitment and talent that Pat brings to the student- teacher relationship with our son, and wholeheartedly recommend him to others looking for private instruction! https://tack.bz/2wgKf
Jean is by far the best vocal coach that I have ever worked with. Beyond just her overall knowledge of voice, she is so versatile and able to adapt her teaching style to any genre. I've sang classical, jazz, and pop with her (and I know she's done many other genres with other students) and I love that she can so easily coach me through whatever piece I bring before her. I've gained about an octave of vocal range since I started working with her and I can effortlessly sing through 3 to 4 hour performances using the vocal techniques that she has taught me. I can't say enough good things about Jean and I think the Estill vocal method she teaches is an incredible approach to studying the voice.
My 13yr old daughter is taking Drum Lessons with Mark. He is a very good teacher and is super nice and funny which makes it easier to connect with her
I've taken years of music lessons and I'm willing to pass that knowledge on. I can teach a variety of percussion and stringed instruments.

I teach beginners up to professionals. I have been teaching and playing music for 30 years. My past experiences include playing in the Air Force Band and playing throughout the Northeast using Boston as a home base. I like to use a very hands-on approach using duets possible with beginners and playing along music with drum set students as soon as possible.
I play drums and teach drums in all styles. I have been playing drums for 14 years. I have two college degrees in music, and I have been playing professionally for 10 years.
I teach guitar, drum and bass lessons in several different genres, from rock, jazz, blues, classical guitar, singer songwriter, etc. My students range from beginner to intermediate, and I charge $30 an hour. I can teach you how to play by ear, how to read, and how to improvise.
I offer drum lessons for the beginner all the way to advanced professionals. Everyone can walk away with a sense of accomplishment and understanding in the world of drumming. I take time to help answer questions and I'm very attentive to a persons creativeness because that's what drumming is all about to me.
Are you a drummer wanting to improve your chops? Have you been playing for a while and can't seem to come up with any new ideas? Did you recently start playing the drums on your own only to find out that it's not as easy as it looks? Or... In the past, did you put learning rudiments on the "back burner" and now you're ready to learn them? Are you a rock drummer wanting to develop some jazz or funk chops? If any of these situations sounds similar to yours, give us a call and we'll work together to get you in shape.
My services stand out because I have the skills nessecary to provide a very good foundation built off of discipline, hard work, and goals. The student will be able to read music and understand how to not only play notes, but to also feel them as they are written. The student will also learn proper technique and good habits to promote an efficient learning experience that will be based off of what they want to learn and what I recommend them to work on. Having goals helps the student aspire to be more creative and build an image of what they want to become as a musician.
