I had a slide in stove installed and it was sticking out about 3 inches on either side due to the gas line. I had called another plumber who was going to do work on the gas line in the basement and then cut it to fit behind the stove for $400.00. Matt told me over the phone what the problem was and how he would fix it. He came out and was able to fix it by doing what he said he need to do - something to the gas line behind the stove -and sliding the stove right in for $200.00. EXCELLENT WORK."See more

The Pro from R.J.S. Plumbing arrived at the scheduled time with the necessary tools and skill to assess the situation and successfully install the replacement for the kitchen sink faucet that was leaking. He explained was unrepairable with the faucet and worked quickly and very neatly to install the new faucet. He was polite and respectful of me and my property -- cleaning up any mess made (he worked so neatly and sure-handedly that there was hardly any!). He tested the faucet to assure that it was working properly with no leaks, checked the water flow, and removed the old parts and debris for safe disposal.

While Brian did fair work when he actually completed a task, I regret hiring him. I found Brian to be 100% unreliable, completely negligent of his own business agreements and ethics, and totally disregarding of my time and good faith. I hired Brian to complete both the electric and plumbing in my renovated kitchen. He convinced me he'd do a great job with both and said he'd need about 3 or 4 days of work before my cabinets went in, and a day or two of work after they were installed. In fact, Brian was in and out of my home more than forty times throughout the course of this project, NEVER arriving when he said he would, leaving both me and contractors waiting for him, sometimes for hours. He also never accomplished what he said he would, sitting in his van in front of my home for longs periods of time, repeatedly leaving after working for short periods without finishing, and then asking to return the next day again and again and again and again. He had a million reasons to justify his irresponsible & unprofessional behavior, always trying to explain away why he was never completing the job. In the end, I lost faith that Brian even could do the plumbing, as he'd had several months and generous opportunities to do so, and still hadn't. When the project was being held up waiting for Brian to get around to his part, my contractor ended up completing the plumbing so that my cabinets and counters could be installed and I could have my kitchen back. Hirer beware and NEVER again.

Drain Bros is an excellent company. They replaced all the pipes leaving my house, from the laundry room/kitchen, the basement bathroom, the upstairs bathroom, the entryway bathroom and the stairwell drain. For the stairwell drain, which has an 8 foot retaining wall next to it, they installed a sump pump and ran the pipes from under the house out to the yard to be up to code. They moved the air vent closer to the house to be up to code and also installed an extra pipe for dye testing. They did not damage the retaining wall, the driveway, or the wood entertainment built in next to where they installed one of the pipes. They replaced the stone steps up to the house and cleaned up the dirt which was dug up to put the exterior pipes in as best as they could. They used quick setting concrete to fill the hole in the laundry room floor and the bathroom floor since those areas would be used sooner than the rest of the areas in the basement that were excavated. They answered all my questions and there were many of them. They did not have undesirable things in the estimate such as not being responsible for damaging retaining walls, gas lines, etc. In other words they were not like some of the plumbers who do not worry about the damage they cause and just say it is the homeowners responsibility to fix it once they are done. Their price was fixed, and they did not raise it even though it may have required more excavating than they expected. The team consisted of very hard workers who were extremely knowledgeable about the job. And they worked very late a couple of days in order to get the job done before my basement remodelers were scheduled to start. They even left one of the toilets off and left us a new wax ring so after the remodelers do the floor they can install it. Drain Bros was very easy to schedule and I did not have to wait long for them to do the job. They were on time every day and always let me know in advance what time they would arrive. This was a major plumbing job and took longer than a week and now our old terra cotta and cast iron pipes, which were leaking and had roots in them, have all been replaced with state of the art plumbing pipes. It is such a relief to have good plumbing and I highly recommend Drain Bros for all you plumbing needs.
