I took piano lessons as a kid and vocal lessons through middle school and high school in a small rural town two hours from Pittsburgh. After a year of feeling a little lonely in a new city by myself I decided I wanted to take a piano and singing lesson once a week just for something to do and to keep myself "in singing shape". I found thumbtack, answered all the questions, and waited for emails from music teachers to come through. The next day I had multiple responses but Rossi Music Studio was the first I opened up and I called immediately after reading it. Even though I was very excited, I never saw myself driving a little over an hour three days a week to work with Joe a few hours a day. I never thought I could find so much amazing talent in one place, even the 7 and 8 year olds have incredible singing voices. Rossi Music Studio's curriculum is so cutting-edge that I can't believe how much I've grown in the short period of time in range, vocal agility, and tone. After a month I don't even recognize my voice and I am realizing what an awesome future I have to look forward to. Pittsburgh is very lucky to have Smokin' Joe and his amazing talent. He genuinely wants the best for each student and puts all of his heart into each lesson. He brings out THE BEST and more in each of his students.

I have been taking lessons from Monte for 7 years now. He is very flexible and will allow you to change your practice time at the last minute. His prices for lessons at very reasonable as compared to others. He can do lessons for most any type of instrument from guitar, banjo, mandolin, bass, violin, keyboards, drums etc. Monte also plays in several bands. He utilizes many of the instruments that he teaches. In fact, I have hired him for several gigs.

Ms. Sonnenberg has been a violin/viola/cello teacher for more than 20 years in the public schools and as a private teacher with her own studio. She has taught in Pennsylvania, the Carolinas and Georgia. She is a natural in this profession--a dedicated teacher whose students have adored her. Her understanding and instruction of classical technique insures that the student has the proper grounding either to play for his or her own enjoyment, or professionally. Lessons with her are a wonderful addition to public/private orchestra programs, helping the student to excel in that area. I heartily recommend her to any parent who desires a superlative experience in instrumental music for their child, and also to adults who have always wanted to play.

Dan is a wonderful teacher. He has been teaching my teenage daughter for almost a year now. Her self confidence has improved and so has her voice. Dan is patient and kind but tough in a good way that pushes my daughter to the next level. I would recommend Dan to anyone interested in professional singing lessons. We would go no where else. Thanks Dan ,Jeanette

About

I haven't sung since high school (30 yrs old) and I knew I needed a teacher who would be patient w me as they taught. During my first lesson Jen easily identified things we needed to work on as well as styles that could work w my voice that I never even considered. After each lesson (even after a hard day before) I feel refreshed and optimistic, not only for the next lesson but the talent that I have so it's also a therapeutic experience if you are passionate about music. She's a complete joy to be around as her personality naturally radiates music notes. If you are passionate about learning music in any regard, don't hesitate any longer and get in contact w her!

About

My daughter took voice lessons with Gregory around 6 years ago but for us it's as if it was yesterday. We will never forget his amazing spirit and his incredible talent. Gregory is complety connected and immersed in his lessons. He makes his students feel special while at the same time developing their voices. The results are immediate and as a matter a fact my daughters friend which I thought to be tone deaf took a lesson and the transformation was incredible. I can not say enough about him as a person or as a teacher!

About

I am the clarinet player and founder of Ishtar Vintage Bellydance Band. I have been studying, teaching, and performing Middle Eastern belly dance music since 2001. I have played clarinet since 1980. I can teach any musician to play beautiful, exotic belly dance music, and I also teach the correct, authentic drum rhythms. I am willing to travel to for teaching and performance purposes. Belly dance music is fun to play, especially for adults returning to their instrument. Band instruments are very welcome, as this music is played easily by small ensembles and soloists. I score and sell sheet music online. Everyone loves belly dance! My band is also available for events. We provide a dynamic, interesting sound for all events!

About

I am a guitar and voice instructor. I graduated from Valparaiso University, where I received a Bachelor of Arts in Music. I specialized in voice and vocal performance. I spent time leading rehearsals for the church choir, Kantorei, on campus as well as orchestrating and composing with a three-piece folk band. Through my education, I gained the understanding of music theory, conducting and healthy upkeep of my instruments. In my business, I am sharing my knowledge as well as my passion for music. I have been playing guitar since I was 13 years old, and I have been writing music on the guitar for just as long. It is an incredible release of emotion and positive influence on the rest of my life to be able to share music and my love for music with others. If you are interested in learning general music or specifically the proper singing techniques as well as performing with a guitar, I offer a growing curriculum and music program that will be molded to your specifications.
