Emily has been a lifesaver for me with reorganizing my new home space. I had a full storage unit, my dad passed away in April 2023 and I was just not functioning enough to start emptying storage unit. Emily came in and gently guided me in the right direction starting with “do you need that or using it at all.” We started with what I had in my home, which I ended up donating over 15 bags of clothes to Veteran’s. As a result of letting go, Emily showed/arranged all my closets to make them more functional. The next task was getting items/boxes out of storage unit. The kitchen came next and from there things went smoothly. The last task was sorting through my dad’s things, which Emily made it easier for me by being a great support. By the end of reorganizing with Emily, she helped set up Veteran’s pick-up, found an organization to donate my dad’s prosthetics and helped me feel good with keeping my home organized. Emily is a blessing and I pray that others will seek her expertise in organizing their homes. Thank you Emily for being a blessing at a time when I truly needed you!! Faye

Emily was great to work with! She helped me to organize several spaces in my home. As she finished one, I quickly identified the next one. In addition to great organization, she also made product suggestions, and sent links (during her time off). Emily is professional, punctual and all around wonderful! If you need help conquering your home's chaos, look no further than Emily & So Simple. She is perceptive, measured and uses a collaborative process to develop a solution that works for you and your home. I approached Emily after scouring reviews, looking for someone who could work with my ADHD brain on several spots in our home. She offered a free consultation call, and explained her process well. Once she started the project, I was pleased that she didn't apply a specific process to the whole thing, but rather a custom solution that prioritized what was important to me. She went above and beyond to recommend products, and was very patient when a curious toddler went poking through her bag. Some of the questions and methods she used were helpful in doing work independent of her sessions. I was very pleased with the outcome; fully organized and re-worked spaces, and clear plans of attack for others. She took time to recommend products, gauge pricing of items I intended to sell, and the best part - she does free donation drop offs! Huge! You can't go wrong with Emily.

Emily was very helpful and a pleasure to work with! She and I decluttered my bedroom and two closets- a task I was overwhelmed by and thus put off for months. With Emily's guidance we filled more than five garbage bags with things to get rid of, donate, and throw away/recycle. She also helped me organize the items I kept. My bedroom and closets feel and look so clean, and it's such a relief! I would definitely recommend So Simple Organization's services if you have a storage problem and need professional help. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
So Simple Organization offers half-day (4 hour) in person organizing sessions for $200, and full-day (8 hour) sessions for $400. We also offer several flat rate organizing packages. Packing/unpacking services are available for $50-$85/hour, with the option to add packing materials for an additional fee. For more details about our pricing, please visit our website.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We start with a free, 30-minute phone consultation to learn more about your organizing project and goals. Afterwards, I may schedule an in-home consultation (also free) if needed to gather more details before providing a project estimate. Then, I will provide you a customized organizing plan, which we can adjust based on your budget/schedule if needed. Once you are ready to get started, you can book your organizing sessions at a time that's convenient for you directly through the So Simple website.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a professional member of the National Association of Productivity and Organizing professionals (NAPO), and have completed required professional training courses and adhere to the ethical standards of the organization. I also have received my Level 1 Certificate of Study in Chronic Disorganization from the Institute for Challenging Disorganization.
