I'm just a few sessions and already feel stronger after working with Josh! I have a healthcare background and I am still learning from him! He is very knowledgeable about fitness and nutrition and makes sure my form is perfect so I don't hurt myself like I always have when I lifted weights by myself! So far I feel that he is a good investment if you are seeking to learn the proper way to lift weights and get fit he is your guy! "Wake-up calls" present themselves in many forms. However, I believe most would agree they often occur as the result of a loss-- the loss of a loved one, a friendship, a marriage, a job, or one's health. My wake-up call occurred July 24, 2012. After avoiding annual physicals for 6 years, I walked out of my doctor's office with a prescription for blood pressure medication and a cholesterol count of 239. Until the age of 35, I was the woman everyone envied--the one who could eat anything and not gain an ounce--then everything changed. For the next 15 years, I continued my unhealthy eating habits until I was 60 pounds overweight, with blood pressure levels bordering on dangerous. After leaving the doctor's office that same day in July, I met a woman who had lost 60 pounds over the previous 18 months. I immediately asked her how she lost the weight. She said she hired a trainer, and the trainer's name was Bev Hobaugh. I contacted Bev 5 days later. She listened carefully to my "story," and booked my first training session the following week. Two years, 50 pounds, and 45 cholesterol points later, I'm still training with Bev 2 days per week, and have no plans to quit!! Bev's philosophy centers on a commitment to a healthy lifestyle-no matter how busy or hectic one's current lifestyle may seem. Bev's program is not just about exercising to lose weight. Working with Jason is rewarding. The workouts are never the same and always a challenge. He analyses your fitness level and works with you to keep improving. I have worked with other trainers that pushed too hard at the beginning and I would never follow through, Jason works you hard don't get me wrong, but not to the point of not wanting to return.

Nicole is a great personal fitness trainer. Before she begins training, she asks for medical and any injury background to help her set up personal exercises that match your needs and abilities. She offers workout tips, nutritional advice, modifications to exercises if needed, and encouragement. Nicole also gives the one-on-one attention/focus to you and keeps an eye on proper form. When she teaches a new workout, she demonstrates it and explains which muscles/areas the exercise works. She is very up-to-date and knowledge on health, nutrition, and exercise.
Back in 2011 I requested a number of trials, looking for a Personal Trainer in Miami Beach. Sam was one of a number I tested and immediately it was clear she was the one. Since then I have used Sam every week nearly for 3 years and there is no doubt she has the perfect blend of honesty, compassion and toughness required for anyone. I have seen her work with children, pre and post natal women and even elite athletes and she treats all levels differently but with the same disciplined approach. She now even helps me shop for the right foods, prepares weekly goals and continues to encourage me in all aspects of wellness. I trained with Charles at Westmoreland Athletic Club and he was an outstanding trainer. He always helped guide me and helped me figure out what I was doing wrong and help me fix it. He pushed my limits and his workouts were always a challenge. Charles is definitely one of the best trainers out there, he cares about everyone as individuals and does workouts specific to your needs.:)
I started working with Jon-Michael about a month and a half ago. I had been eating poorly, hardly drinking any water, and was generally lost health-wise. I had a long history of different confused attempts at weight loss that left me realizing that I needed help, someone to guide me and keep me accountable. I called him when I was turned off by a local gym's pressure and dishonesty regarding their training program. From the start, he was interested in what my current habits were, what my goals were, and what I was open to learning. He was and continues to be patient, supportive, and encouraging while giving me the tools and weekly motivation to keep going, make daily small changes to feel better, do more physically, and make progress on my overall health. He has a genuine interest in helping people, and offers help regarding your daily habits (water intake, breathing), as well as nutrition and fitness counseling. Although my journey to health has only just begun, I've already noticed a difference in my body and ability, and feel nothing but optimistic and excited about the future.
Rob was very knowledgeable, patient, and kind to me during our workout session. He understood that I was not a fan of exercise,I expressed to him that it was something I needed to do to lose weight and feel healthier! He showed me a few different routines and one was actually really fun. There was one that used something called a Bosu, which really challenged me to stay balanced and burned lots of calories in the process After our sessions were done, we set up a routine that I could easily do in my home and that fit in my schedule. Now I feel confident that I can carry out our exercise plan and work towards my fitness goals. I highly recommend Rob as a personal trainer!
