Ashley completed the first cooking course with my son Louis Jr. She is a very professional chef with all the credentials. She is the real deal! She arrives before time, she has all of the supplies, etc. I like the way she communicates with my son who has autism. She is very respectful. Her wording is clear and understandable. Usually I have to coach a person a lot before they are able to communicate well with my son. She is reasonably priced and the food was amazing tasty beyond my expectations. I would like Ashley to cook for my other group events as well. This was my first experience using Thumbtack and it was a winner!!
Again, Catherine Brown conducted an exceptional cooking, and healthy eating class. Having participants to actually prepare the dish reinforced the importance and meaning of cooking foods in a more healthy way. I am definitely going to try all of the recipes that we had and make an even greater attempt to eat healthier. Thanks Ms Brown for a rewarding experience.
Sherrill came to my home and cooked dinner for me and my elderly parents twice a week for a few months to help me out as I could not get home until later. She created some original dishes from what was in the fridge or made a specific recipe, depending on if something was requested or not. The food was always tasty and well prepared. And she cleaned up the kitchen afterward!
I attended a healthy cooking class that Judy instructed. She was friendly, welcoming, very knowledgeable, and made everyone feel comfortable right away. She explained the recipes and cooking/prepping tips that were helpful. She had all the ingredients and tools needed laid out nicely and was very organized. Judy also gave suggestions throughout on how to make simple healthy substitutions in daily eating/cooking that were realistic and doable. She made sure everyone had an active role in cooking the recipe. It was a ton of fun and felt like cooking with a bunch of friends while we chatted, laughed, got to know one another, and worked together to make some seriously delicious food! There were all different levels of cooking experience present that day and I felt like everyone learned something. As a bonus Judy provided everyone with a copy of the recipes with cute illustrations on them and she sent us home with our own spice mix that we used in the recipe, a really nice touch! Overall I had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend Judy's healthy cooking classes to anyone who wants to broaden their horizons and pallet!
We hosted a birthday dinner for 10 people and hired Jen and Max for a private dinner. Jen and Max were amazing!!! The food and service was outstanding! We were served a 5 course dinner with wine pairing, all our guest cannot stop expressing how great dinner was. We will definitely be using Jen and Max again!
We had a great lesson and great fun with Brooke. She really tries to figure out what you want in a menu, and she's serious and passionate but easy going about her craft. I learned a lot about cooking, enjoyed her sense of humor and overall it was a great experience. (Ps, Brooke, I ate the stir fry again for breakfast!) We are looking forward to our next lesson!

Ada was fully prepared when she came to our appointment. She had all the food and supplies already so there was nothing that I needed to worry about. Her knowledge is extensive, and she explains things very well. She's also very good on the spot, i.e. changing menu options to accomodate lack of ingredients or healthy diet requirements. I have done two one-hour sessions with her and I would highly recommend her. She is great for anyone interested in learning basic cooking skills, or for people who are looking to expand their current knowledge about cooking and baking.
I have to give Three Tables Catering an outstanding review. They catered my wedding at White Chimneys Estate in Gap PA on July 11th 2015. They provided everything, and I mean everything except alcohol for cocktail hour, dinner, dessert and bar service. Brandon and David are the nicest, most easy-going guys, but they deliver outstanding service. When I first contacted them I literally had no idea what I wanted. My groom and I had totally different opinions on food plus we needed some vegetarian options. Brandon was very patient with us, and we ended up designing our own special menu that was made up of some of our favorite foods. We got great reviews from our guests about everything. My parents were so happy with their experience that they hired them to cook brunch at their house for out of town guests the morning after the wedding!!! If you are a control freak or super picky, leave that aside. You can put your trust in Three Tables.
I had the pleasure of working with Kim and her Team in one of their after school cooking programs for a day. At the start of the class, a lot of the kiddies (2nd or 3rd graders), were very vocal about not liking some of the vegetables. However, they were encouraged to try it in a "new" way first before refusing to eat it. They had so much fun in preparing the veggie roll themselves, they were excited to eat it. And all the kids enjoyed their snack, especially the veggies in a "new" way. They could not wait to go home and share the recipes with their parents.
I hosted a group cooking class at my home with Chef Dorina. What a great time! There were 9 of us and everyone got involved everyone learned and the meal we made was amazing! The best part is Dorina teaches things in a way that makes it easy to learn and remember. I will be making the dishes I learned now on a regular basis! We have already set up another class for next month... we all can't wait! Thanks Dorina!
