I would like to give them a five star review because overall they did a great job. Due to some issues on their end, I can only give four stars. I was quoted for four people for six hours so we went ahead and moved a bunch of stuff ourselves to reduce our time even more, but only two people showed up (one man and one woman). They were over an hour late because they couldn't get a dolly and it still took them six hours because there were only two of them! She told me my time wouldn't change because they were down a couple of people, but I don't know how that could even be possible. I was charged$100 more than my quote, which we paid without argument because I honestly felt like they did their best. They took great care in moving our furniture and we really liked Moe (super friendly guy). They were still the best price around!

Hello April, It was truly a pleasure working with you and your husband. You guys were very understanding and easy to work with. There were several things that didn’t go according to plan on your move date. Many of them being out of my control, like people calling out and Uhaul not having the equipment I reserved. The extra money was added on due to have to take two trips. All of your belongings would not fit in the largest truck available. However if you guys are unsettled about having to pay that, I would be more than willing to send you a refund. I thank you for your kindness and understanding and appreciate your business. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We have a set rate of $140/hr This includes the truck, two movers, assembly/disassembly, blankets, and straps. Larger jobs that require 3 movers are $160/hr. We also charge a $1 a mile .Depending on size of job we may give a discount after certain amount of hours. There is also a charge of $25 for moving appliances and electric exercise machines.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I will call them and ask them a few questions about themselves. I enjoy meeting new people. I’ll find out what needs moved and how far. Using this information I will develop an invoice of the charges and send via email. If the customer then decides to hire me we will schedule a time and date.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been moving customers for Reliable Moving and Labor for 3yrs. I worked for another moving company for a few yrs prior to starting my own business.
