Cheryl is an exceptional teacher who loves what she does. Her classes are always interesting, varied, and paced so students get results. I have had many yoga teachers. By far, Cheryl is the best trainer and educator I have had. She takes the time to explain what the breath and forms do for the body and why we should do them not just how. She is attentive to the wide range of strengths and challenges of each student and protects us from ourselves, reminding us not to push for 100% of each pose. When I started with Cheryl two years ago, I had a very bad back and very tight muscles. My strength, flexibility, and balance are vastly improved. I am very loyal to her classes because they are the reason for my improved well-being.
I had meditation and yoga classes with Chavi before and can't wait to attend those again! Both were amazing! Her classes are always a moment that I can truly be mindful as her methods are very helpful in this sense. When we finish the class, she will always be open to talk about any doubts or experiences that we had during the practice and that also adds so much for the whole experience! We always leave her classes feeling lighter and happier!
Jen led a yoga class at my bachelorette party and on the morning of my wedding. There were some first time yogis in the group, but Jen made them feel at ease. She speaks with a calm and confident voice and uses humor during difficult poses. She also offers helpful adjustments and feel-good massage/stretching during shavasana. Jen is very creative and puts together fun playlists for different classes such as animal themed songs for an Animal Rescue League event and 90s love songs for my bachelorette).
