Introduction
Kristin “Kitty” Dunbar is a professional freelance makeup artist and owner of Anchored Beauty, based out of Rhode Island. After many years in Boston as an executive assistant for professional service and real estate firms, Kitty decided to pursue her true passion to become a stylist and makeup artist and is a graduate of the Toni & Guy Hairdressing Academy. After spending some time in the salon world Kitty decided to specialize in luxurious, personalized makeup services. For the past 6 years she has been enhancing the natural beauty of clients, brides and bridal parties is foremost in the mind of Kitty when she works.
Kitty specializes in onsite makeup services for weddings, events, lifestyles, films, commercials, tv and photoshoots in the New England Area.
When Kitty is not doing makeup or working with clients, she enjoys spending time with her husband and 4 beautiful boys. She loves to exercise, read, travel and enjoys attending the Sundance Film Festival every January.

Hiring Kitty was one of the best decisions I made for my wedding day. We had 9 girls get airbrush for my wedding and Kitty was quick, efficient and everyone loved the way they looked and felt!
Planning beforehand with Kitty was a breeze, she was quick to respond and very accommodating of the day's schedule. On my wedding day, she was the very first person to arrive to my bridal suite and she was a wonderful, calming presence on such a hectic day.
She nailed my vision for my bridal make up and I received so many compliments. I will recommend her services to absolutely everyone!

Working with Kristin from Anchored Beauty was a pleasure. I was recently selected as 'patient of the year' for the breast cancer clinic I am associated with. Kristin did my hair and make up for the gala and I felt like the belle of the ball due to her expertise. I am not an everyday make up wearer and she listened to my concerns that I did not want to be over done... I sure did feel like she listened and the final outcome was gorgeous if I must say so myself! As a matter of fact, we just hired her for my daughter's upcoming wedding! I would highly recommend Anchored Beauty for any of your make up needs!

Kristen was my makeup artist for my December wedding. I was a bundle of nerves that day, but from the moment I sat in her chair she made me feel like the most beautiful bride! Kristen managed her time amazingly and truly was a master of her craft! I never have felt so beautiful. The time she took to get to know me and work with me to perfect the vision I had for my wedding day was phenomenal. Her color choices and product offerings were outstanding. She was the best choice I could have made.
