- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is not complicated at all. In fact, it's the easiest and most affordable personal training rate structure in Columbia. My small-group 45 minute sessions in Northeast Columbia are part of a program I call "My Fit Club." It is BY FAR the most popular and affordable option. Most trainers charge $40/hr.! If you train 3 times per week, that's almost $500 a month! With a membership to "My Fit Club," you pay one low monthly fee for UNLIMITED training! My Fit Club: (Unlimited access to 17 time-slots weekly) 3 month commitment: $187 / mo. Month-to-month: $198 / mo. *Ask about how you can earn FREE training with my rewards and bonuses referral program. The more often you come, the more you save! I DO offer other programs including 1-on-1 training. Prices vary and will be negotiated fairly considering training duration, frequency, and site of training.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Like I've mentioned before (and what sets me apart from other trainers), I got into this line of work because I know the long hard road to weight loss. I lost 87 lbs. and 10" off of my waistline and I had to figure things out on my own because I couldn't afford a trainer. I learned so much through my own journey and wanted not only to share it with others who struggle with weight loss, but to make it honest and affordable - drastically different than the fitness industry as it stands today with it's lies and secret cures that make it worth over $100 billion!
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
If you're looking for a trainer, my advice would be this: a.) Never pay for an easy workout. You can do that yourself. b.) Ask yourself, "Is my trainer REALLY training me or just spotting me on a piece of equipment and/or just standing there talking to me while I walk on a treadmill?" You're not paying for a babysitter - you're supposed to be paying for quality training! c.) I know you want to look good and fast, but decide if the trainer you're choosing can teach you what you need to learn to maintain a healthy lifestyle and level of fitness for life.
