I have trained with Christen since 2010. Initially, I wanted to drop 10 lbs. Reaching that, my goal became gaining lean strength and better agility. Christen developed a program to build my core muscles, increase my endurance and improve swiftness. I gained confidence to compete in obstacle races such as Warrior Dash and Tough Mudder. I'm trilled with the results from the hard work and Christen's guidance. I recently completed a Tough Mudder event with my daughter's college rowing team; at the end, my daughter said, "Dad's a bad ass!". Christen also helps me with muscle tightness and race recovery. She incorporates yoga and pilates for muscle flexibility. Most recently, she has added Trigger Point therapy to my routine. If you have a goal or just want to feel better, Christen can help you. She is very knowledgable and invested in her clients results.

Michael Coplon is a truly great yoga teacher! He carefully attends to each student as he manages his classes, ensuring their proper form, while at the same time, he educates and explains the reasons for all that is done in class in such a way that newcomers or regular students can always be enriched by his instruction, his comments, and all of his lessons. My friends and I always look forward to what we will learn Michael in his next class!

About

Students in my class can expect to develop both stamina and strength, physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. By using traditional Kundalini yoga techniques called Kriyas (sequences of movements), coupled with chanting, breathing and moments of stillness, students who arrive stressed and anxious leave happy, balanced, uplifted and peaceful. Practicing Kundalini yoga awakens us to our own possibilities where living in happiness can be a daily event. “Kundalini” is a Sanskrit word that translates as “curl or coiled” and is energy inside our bodies, specifically in and along our spinal column. Kundalini energy is dormant energy that we all possess but often have difficulty recognizing and using it in our daily life. All human beings contain these energies which remain dormant in our bodies if not awakened; thus, resulting in a variety of ways such as illness, imbalances, lethargy and unhappiness. This is suitable for all levels of practice. It is fun and easy. Health benefits include stress release, focus, strength and stamina on all levels, higher levels of energy and clarity creating happiness from the inside out. Meditation is a part of Kundalini and Tantra Kriya Yoga yoga. Kundalini yoga is known as the yoga of awareness. Sat Nam Rayasan is known as the "Art of Knowing". The neutral mind is engaged for meditation and healing of self and others. Kundalini yoga assists in reaching this natural state of the mind. Tantra Kriya yoga is a body-based path to learning to "live in bliss". Through activating the body, stilling the mind, arousing sexual energy in a safe appropriate way and then transmuting it to increase vitality, health and longevity, we can enjoy our life. There are four levels of learning with a Tantra Kriya yoga teacher. Corporate consultations and private and group classes are available. Our services include tantra awareness classes, tantra relationship coaching and preventative health consultation.

About

I get it. You are intimidated by classes of lithe, thin, flexible people who can seem to do any pose and you can't see your toes much less touch them. Getting down on the floor requires planning so you have enough support to get back up. Knee to nose? Oh, that's cute! No. I have been there and I am still there! Yoga is for everyone and, I believe, more than anyone else, yoga is for those of us with a few extra pounds here and there or those of us who are so stiff we feel like the Tin Man all the time. I really know where you're coming from and have the same insecurities and feel self-conscious about myself. BUT, I am here to tell you that a regular yoga practice will change your life! Are you ready to try yoga? Contact me and let's get started!

Sarah - ahhhh, Sarah! She is simply extraordinary. Her calm yet powerful yoga instruction is remarkable. She has the wonderful capability of adjusting the practice to each person's need. And nothing is quite so decadent and successful as having her in your own home to lead the practice.
